Studio monitors for decades! Love them! The Mac Studio arrived yesterday. So far, so good. Much faster and more efficient when running Ableton Live, which is its primary function here. Plus, it’s so nice to directly plug in peripherals (no hubs required). Love it!

Love the wallpaper - do you have a link?My updated desk setup now that I’ve replaced my 2017 15” rMBP with a Mac Studio.
Did you actually mimic the wallpaper with wall washers? Way cool ?
Nope, just a Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip that syncs the desktop. The wallpaper is part of this collection.Did you actually mimic the wallpaper with wall washers? Way cool ?
Link to the wallpaper please ?
Only noticeable from the side, not the front. That’s a pretty setup! But that glare and reflection of the screen would annoy me.
Like the paint job.
how does it sync? can you explain please. thanksNope, just a Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip that syncs the desktop. The wallpaper is part of this collection.
is that in combination with the Bridge and Sync Box?

which monitor is this and what arm are you using?
Correct. Just the Hue Sync app.I was under the impression that the Hue Sync app only supported a single color with the Gradient Lightstrip, and that you needed the Hue Play HDMI Sync Box (which presumably doesn't work with non-HDM displays like the Apple Studio Display). Your setup seems to indicate that this is incorrect? All I need to have the lightstrip sync with my display with multiple colors is the Hue Gradient Lightstrip, the Hue Bridge (which I already own) and the macOS Hue Sync app? I'm tempted to get the Hue Gradient Lightstrip now.
Very nice setup!
What is that monitor? This is my office setup, specifically for client work. I'm renting an apartment so I can separate my work from home stuff (mostly indie games) from client work stuff (mostly game design and consulting). I was looking to get a Mac Studio and a Studio Display but 90% of my work at this office is mostly consulting and writing/editing design documents and the M1 Macbook Pro is already overkill for it. So i decided to save the money and wait to see for what comes at WWDC.
For my own games and more demanding work I still rely on my iMac Pro at home. If I'll get a more graphical intensive gig that requires a ton of level design with high quality assets I might look into a M1 Max or Ultra mac but I'm pretty sure I can still get by with my Macbook (honestly, there isn't such a big difference in performance between it and my Vega 64 iMac Pro).
Anyway this is it, simple and perfect for mostly meetings and document editing. When work is done, I put the M1 Macbook Pro in my bag, get home and use it to control my iMac Pro (home setup is here).

It's a Dell Ultrasharp 30", model number U3023E IIRC. It has support for P3 color. It's complete **** compared to my iMac Pro 5k display but it's good enough for office work. What is that monitor?
At least it's probably better than my trash 21.5" TN panel HP N223 that has a loose HDMI port (constantly loses connection), that I never have gotten around to replacing. It's a Dell Ultrasharp 30", model number U3023E IIRC.
