haha I work in the IT field.

I do rather enjoy revelling vicariously in the opulence of some of the more ridiculously indulgent setups.

I don't know if anyone else finds this at all but I never find any envy among Apple fans, just admiration and interest. Rather than petty jealousy it's more like being excited for the person.

When I bought the nMP two of my friends were as excited to see it as I was!

I also find Mac users to have much cleaner and elegant looking setups. As a very general statement, I would say PC users tend to have more flamboyant and messy setups.. just my opinion in looking at setup threads for over 10 years.

A bit better of a shot; the iPad 4th Gen is just not a low light camera.

I would have agreed up until a few years ago, now minimal and cable free are the trend on that side too.

My bedroom office update with new desk, cable management and some LED lighting...

awesome setup. What speakers are those? At first glance they look like the Audio Engine A2's in the bamboo finish but they lack the bass port slit at the bottom.

EDIT: nevermind, just noticed you answered this already. They look almost exactly the same.

Yep, I don't think the A2 comes in bamboo, only the A5.

These are pretty good for the price when they go on sale (110 cdn, 130 cdn for bamboo version). I also got their bigger Kanto Yumi for my iMac in the basement. I am happy with these purchases.

Here is my new to me Refurb late 2012 Mac Mini i7 2.3 with dual Dell U2415 displays. Logitech wireless/solar powered keyboard. Magic pad is working great so far and Bose Soundlink mini for the sound. Upgraded from G5 iMac.

How do you like the bose soundlink mini for sound. I was thinking of doing the same thing.

How did you get that Background?

Single image? Two seperate?

I'm a little lost on how to do this!

Thanks!

I would say it sounds good but I think Great is a better description.

You can see it on the left side of the image and you will notice a little cable coming out of it. The cable is for the flat charging base that the soundlink sits on. when I leave or i need to take it for a ride its always charged up and no wires need to be unplugged.

It connects via bluetooth to the mac mini.

Its one single 3840x1200 image.

There is this app that you can drop these wide picture files into it and it will automagicaly split the image on both monitors.

When I get home I'll post the name of the app.

Not too much has changed. I got some new (cheap) speakers and have returned to mostly clamshell mode. I have a mStand (not pictured) and am using my dual setup at the moment while updating my Windows 8 VM. :D
