Thanks. I can fit it since my dining room is my home office. I need a sturdier desk and was liking it in the store.

this by far the sturdiest desk I ever owned, and I've gone through quite a bunch of them through the years. Only issue is that it's so heavy, it's difficult if you ever have to move it around like I did several months ago.

Thanks this really helps. I think I will place furniture sliders under it if I ever need to move it.

yeah I had to take the desk apart since it attaches in 3 parts. For me, it was a matter that the desk was too big to manipulate in my room which is relatively small

It has changed quite a bit.

I've been looking for a new desk. This one seems nice. Do you have a link to where you bought it from?

----------

connected my rmbp to the Asus PA248 and using a brand new mStand.

from left to right:
Sennheiser HDR120
Synology DS214play (with 2*4Tb)
rmbp 13 (rMBP 13.3 mid '14 i5 @ 2.6Ghz, 16GB, SSD 256GB) Apple wireless keyboard and Magic mouse
Rain design mstand
Seagate 1tb USB3 drive
ASUS PA248Q
iPad2 16Gb (broken but working screen -> waiting delivery from ifixit)
Canon EOS 450D with Canon EF 50mm

How do you like that Asus monitor? I've been on the lookout for an external display and I'm trying to decide between the PA248Q and Dell U2415

The Asus is pretty hot, image quality is very good, the height can be adjust to a decent position (a bit high than the Dell P2414h that i'm using at work). the only cons on it is its style, sometimes it looks like a 90's screen but all in all for the price and the quality, totally worst it .

I just picked up the Dell P2715Q 27" 4K monitor for my desktop workspace. So I work both in my apartment and out on location lots too, so I keep this simple desktop set up for when I get back in with the rMBP.

Are you running that monitor with a 13" rMBP? How is the 4k experience?

I also notice you are from the Uk. Where did you get the monitor from? It's still out of stock on Amazon UK. Thanks

Please excuse the low imagine quality, wasn't the best of lighting for the iPad's camera.

Nice chair from Amazon

Nope the 27" is so big it makes my 15" looks tiny. Its running fine, slightly laggy when heavy editing in photoshop, but otherwise completely fine.

I got it from Dell.
