This is just nit picking but it would look better/cleaner if you centered that picture above your monitor rather than have it off to the side.Mac mini with Asus Monitor on unfinished DIY floating desk.

imac 2011 27' two dell U2414H monitors
Thanks! That's my old SE on the top shelf, then one down is a PowerBook 540c and a ThinkPad 760XL. Left of those is my collection of originals - my old original iPhone, iPod, and Apple TV. And a small portion of my book collection - you can never have too many!Nice class apple computer you got there on the shelf.
Wanted to change my setup a bit again... Moved my old 2011 iMac back to my room for a dual screen setup. I'm enjoying the dual screen experience again..A little has changed since last year but not much difference... Fixed the wobbling issue by mounting the table to the wall studs.. Added a drawer underneath the table, new K811 keyboard since my wireless keyboard gave up after 6 years.. and finally a new office chair I am willing to show...
My plan is to replace the macbook pro to a Mac Pro in the near future...
And this is my mobile setup...

That's a LCS from a dual G5 that died a few years back. It's a neat-looking thingy, and it makes for a great bookendWhat is that bookend on the bottom shelf?

I like them both levelSorry if this is like an old subject but do you really have to prop up the TBD to make it level with the iMac? You'd think Apple would've sorted that out.

I've been meaning to take better pictures of my setup, but I haven't had the chance, so for now here you go.
First, this was taken about a year and a half ago. This is what my setup looked like up until a month ago.
Since then I've gotten a new 5K iMac, so I had to make some modifications to the desk. Removed the large shelf, added two smaller speaker shelves.
Had only one evening with it so far so not yet totally settled. But still I am pretty sure there is no going back
switching from 30" to 40" the screen real estate doubled and hugely increased resolution pumped DPI only from 100 to 110. And becouse I never had any issue with pixels in my cinema display, running this in native resolution gives me so much more space and everything looks little crispier and only slightly smaller than before.
I also thought of 27-32 4K monitors. With those you would have better DPI, but not much more working space. Not without making everything tiny anyways.
So in my opinion this is the way to go.
