From that display to a 5K iMac, sweet upgrade! Your eyes must think its christmas everyday!

Yeah, pretty much. That old LCD was cheap when I bought it ten years ago, but it served me well. Couldn't be happier with the upgrade though!

Going back pages i see a lot of people have the Soundsticks, how do you like them? I can't decide between those or the audioengine A2+

I cleaned my desk earlier and decided this would be a good occasion to stop lurking. Here's my college setup:

- The 15" rMBP is my main computer
- The iPad mini 2 is mostly used in bed (I thought I'd take it with me everywhere but I just don't do that)
- The HP Spectre x360 is great for taking notes during lectures (I quickly grew tired of carrying the MacBook...). But, despite being one of the better ultrabooks on the market, it doesn't come close to my MBP in terms of user experience (OS, keyboard, and oh god the trackpad...)
- I also have the iPhone 6 I took the picture with. I'm thinking of switching to the Note 6 though, the iPhone has lost its charm to me.

Peripherals-wise, there's a cheap LG monitor, a very expensive Ducky Shine 5 keyboard, the Razer Naga Hex mouse, and Bose QuietComfort 25. I know a lot of people hate these but the noise-cancelling capacities have been a godsend when I'm trying to study and the neighbors baby is crying.

Right now, I'm thinking of selling my iPad and buying a mini Linux PC to use with my monitor and keyboard...

Hi all, just looking for inspiration for changing the look of my MacBook Pro Retina 13", and was wondering if you could all include a screenshot below of the desktop on your Mac, just like I have here.

Please also include if you are using a scaled resolution (if you are using a retina Mac), and what model your Mac is. Thanks heaps, the time it takes for you to upload a screenshot means a lot!

Wrong thread, take a look at https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/post-your-desktop-march-2016.1959092/page-2 and all previous months.

Wanted to change my setup a bit again... Moved my old 2011 iMac back to my room for a dual screen setup. I'm enjoying the dual screen experience again..

So we have my messy desk here with the Mac Mini. The reason for two keyboards? Well the mouse and gaming style keyboard is for my gaming PC. The logitech wireless keyboard with trackpad is for my Mac Mini. I have a set of logitech speakers with subwoofer. Obviously the subwoofer is under the desk. The speakers are hooked up to the PC, and the little blue speaker is hooked up to the Mac Mini. Also, my desk is always messy.

It's organized chaos. And yes, I collect Godzilla stuff.

Here we have my MacBook and iPad 3 next to it. The black laptop in front of the iPad is my black MacBook. It needs some TLC, so I didn't really post a pic of it. Surprisingly, the seller on eBay was selling it for $15. Said he didn't have the means to test it, so he was selling it as is. I took a chance on it, and it worked perfect out of the box. Just really dinged up parts and sticker residue all over.

Finally, mainly for the lulz... as I have nothing else I use this desk for (well, laptop repair). It's my 2006 MacBook Pro hooked up to a 15 inch monitor for dual displays. I had no other use for the monitor, so I though, "why the hell not?"
There are a couple of shelves that hold my iBooks and PowerBook G4s underneath. But yeah, that's my Mac setup.
