My old bedroom turned office.

Photos taken with iPhone 6S Plus

Gaming PC: Dell S2415H, Corsair Air 540, GTX 970, 4690K, 500GB SSD, 16GB RAM. Yes, my cable management is terrible.

My IKEA Alex Roller drawer is my rMBP station. Late 2013 15" base model with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 2.0GHz i7 w/ Iris Pro. The skins are from DecalGirl, and I made the custom mouse pads from VistaPrint. I carry my 64GB iPad Air 2 and my rMBP inside my Staad Stout Backpack from Waterfield Designs.

Last but not least, my iMac. 2.7ghz i5, 6770M, 480GB SSD(formerly 1TB HDD), 7GB RAM(Don't ask), Mid 2011. Love this, runs perfectly since the day I bought it. Planning on buying SSD upgrade kit from OWC soon, though. iMac is almost unbearable with it's HDD. This is on my old original desk, as you can tell. iPhone 6S Plus goes on my twelve south stand, next to my iMac.

Edit: As of April 8th, 2016 the iMac has official been upgraded to a 480GB OWC SSD.

My main setup consists of a 25 inch LG ultra wide monitor, a 15 inch Retina MacBook Pro, (Specs 16GB RAM, Intel Quad Core i7 CPU, 256GB SSD) I've now got this running as dual screen setup for my photo & video editing. The Mac Pro tower is my secondary system (Specs 16GB RAM, 2x dual core Xeon processors, 5TB Storage space) this acts as my RAID storing all my video files. The sound system is the Bose Companion 20, may eventually upgrade to the 50 series.

To the left of the image I have a little Asus Zenbook laptop, which I bought for a recent trip to NYC and it was brilliant, it even ran PS CS6 and the Nik photo suite quite well.

I've also just recently bought some Bose Quiet Comfort 25 headphones in white and beige, which are on top of the Mac Pro. They're the best headphones I've ever bought and epic for video editing, cancel out background noise so well.

I think I will always have to have a Macbook Pro as my main laptop. I have had too much joy with my late 2013 rMBP to even consider another laptop. I won't be replacing this one for awhile anyway. Here's my setup with the ipad air 2 on the far left and my rMBP on the far right.

Nice to see the Unicomp doing some work!

Update on the iMac. Using OWC's upgrade kit, the 2011 iMac has seen new life with a 480GB SSD from OWC.

Runs like a new machine. Here's a pic with the SSD installed. With that, all my machines are now pure SSD. I'll never buy a new computer with a HDD again. The fact that Apple still sells $1500+ machines with HDD still as standard is ridiculous. Between the rMBP and Gaming PC, the iMac's HDD was driving me nuts.

This is my temporary minimal setup until I get everything setup the way I want to. Hoping to get a new iMac soon and put the MBPr on standby duty.

So pictured is, Early 2015 MBPr 13", iPhone SE 64gb, iPhone 4 8gb (use as an iPod Touch), and iPad Air 2 128GB.

I don't have any snazzy DSLR's or ultra modern setups but this works for now.

And here's the little update.
I sold my MB 12" cause it wasn't sufficient for my needs for combining college & work. So I went for a Windows machine & bought the Dell XPS 15.
The 1080p widescreen also got replaced by the DELL U2515H ( and also hoping to buy one again to have dual monitors )

For when I need a little more screen real estate:

Kind sir, may I ask, what is the device hooked up to the Macbook 12''? Because it seems like only one cable is connected so was wondering.. does it charge and display at once? And please tell me there is one for the Macbook pro retina 13'' as well!... I have been looking for a device/cable that is able to charge and send the image to another display at once.

Thank you in advance!

I only had it hooked up to the monitor and running on battery. I would have to connect a power cable to that hub if I wanted to charge it as well.

Macbook 12" users would be able to do that with just one cable using the Caldigit dock (if it ever releases).
