I know, but it work well :D
I need to change this horrible wallpaper, then get a better desk and my iMac (or Mac Mini, I still don't know)
But I'm only 15 years old, and I'm still in high school, and my parents isn't rich at all so I do with what I have ;)
But come on, this thread is for everyone to show their desk, and not only rich-asf*ck poeple :p

My old Mac Mini came back home today. Also working on a laptop I'm giving my brother in law for Christmas.

Just swapped out a 2011 iMac for a new Mac mini with SSD (mounted under desk) and 2x 20" ACD. Love the design of the old cinema displays... Also pictured on standing desk - 2013 MacBook Air
I couldn't agree more; the design of those older aluminum ACDs is simply wonderful!

I've redone my setup to clean up the cord explosion behind my desk, and to make it look a little more balanced.

Left to right we have an Apple IIc monitor, my 2015 11" Air, and the first of two 20" ACDs. In the middle is an early 2008 24" iMac with the small wired keyboard in front of it, and a second 20" ACD on the right. On top of the Mac Pro 5,1 on the right side of the desk are my lamp and an original iPhone. On top of the shelf to the right is my 2012 mini server and AirPort Extreme.

The two 20" ACDs are connected to the Mac Pro, and the iMac is its own monitor. I control the two desktops with one keyboard and mouse hooked into the Mac Pro using ShareMouse, a wonderful little LAN KB/mouse sharing application. I also have a separate bluetooth KB/mouse for when I just want to use the iMac on its own.

Yeah ! I got it thursday ! And the specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2,26GHz
4Gb of RAM DDR3 1067MHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9400(M)
Kingston SSDNow V300 240Gb

You mind posting what you got it for? I'm like you, I get excited to have an older mac. Especially at a low price cause nobody else wants them. I have the specked out super one I use for work, but the rest are my awesome oldies. It's nice to see someone with the same love for old macs, and putting them to use.

Honestly ? I'm using it as my main machine !
It's seems to be pretty low end, but It's not slow at all, and It's still supporting El Capitan ! And It run every thing I need very well (thanks to the SSD) It's got the same specs as my MacBook Pro that was running everything good, I just wanted a desktop machine alongside a laptop (and using a 13" MBP as your main machine without external monitor, Nah)
But I love older Mac too ! And I also get excited when I get a Mac, from the MacBook Pro to an iMac G3, I think every Mac is interesting, I think If I really like old Mac, it's because I was WAYYYYY to young to know when they were up to date, so I don't know much about them, and It's not because they're old that they're not useful !
I use a PowerMac G5 as my home NAS, and a Early 2006 MacBook Pro as the family computer !

Really wish they would update the mini to a higher spec. I want to replace my wall mounted Imac with a 34 inch widescreen monitor. I'm afraid that the mini would have a hard time pushing it.

The Mini is and will always be the low end Mac :(
The only decent Mini was the 2012 model with the quad-core i7
If they could put the same internal of the 15" MBP on the Mini, it's would be awesome (with the dedicated graphics and the quadcore cpu)
Even by the making the Mac Mini bigger and thicker (it's a desktop computer after all)
