I think the flower complicates the setup too much ;)

My desk. Hard to stand back far enough to take it all in.

Mid 2011 Mac Mini i5 2.3ghz running 10.11.6 El Capitan with 16gb RAM and 512gb Samsung SSD

3 x LG 24inch E2441 running at 1920x1080. Wallpaper is a panorama of Singapore.

4 x WD 3tb Firewire 800 external drives, 1 x WD 2tb Firewire 800 external drive

Logitech K811 Keyboard + Apple Magic Mouse 2. Webcam isn't plugged in anymore due to lack of USB ports and I haven't got around to upgrading my old usb hub. Is a Belkin iphone dock attached (out of view) and a few other external hard drives for various things that are not connected anymore. I also keep the keyboard powered all the time cause it annoys me that the backlight turns off after a few seconds of inactivity.

Speakers are Logitech something or others that don't sound too bad are hiding behind the monitors and the sub is on the floor on the desk. It's about what you'd expect for apartment living (not too loud to annoy the neighbours).

Room is mostly dark with Ikea LED strips around the back of my desk and in other shelves in the room to provide ambient lighting. It's not the best setup i've had over the years but with a small amount of space it's not too bad. I'd like to upgrade the Mac Mini at some point as it's really showing it's age running very hot most of the time with constant network dropouts but it's on the back burner for now. Also need to find a good replacement for the firewire drives if I upgrade due to nothing coming with Firewire for a while now.

Besides that I have a 2016 MacBook Pro 13" i7 with 16gb RAM, 500gb SSD (new) upgrading from a 2015 MacBook and an iPhone 7 Matte Black with 256gb storage. Lots of other Apple stuff in the house in storage or belonging to wife and her family.

My work setup is much the same as above with a standard Apple Wireless keyboard, Samsung 22" displays and none of the external hard drives. The Mac Mini is the same spec with a smaller SSD.

4 x 3tb Firewire 800 + 1 x 2tb Firewire 800 for the curious it's an Air New Zealand B777-200 model plane and the turtle and rock are from Fiji.

Hey guys,

Thought I'd update you with my new desk setup since I just got my first WQHD/wide-gamut monitor, the Dell U2713H.

This is the work side of the room:

This is usually how my desk looks when I'm in the middle of drawing and whatnot. I actually prefer to draw with a pen on actual paper. And, then, finish the rest by scanning it in. But, I am also a photographer, aspiring video editor, sometimes I paint, etc....

And, now, the fun side of the room:

I just have games installed on there. The second screen on there (Asus PA238Q) used to be my main screen on the Mac.

I live in a tiny house. Only 600 sq feet. Everything needs to have at least 2 purposes. So this is my standing desk/bar height counter extension desk/ kitchen TV. With a ergotron arm.

32 inch HP 1440p monitor
Logitech thx 2.1 speaker system (sub hidden in kitchen island)
Amazon echo dot with dedicated Bose SoundLink.
iPad pro 128 GB
Apple watch
Beats studio wireless headphones

Not pictured 2015 MBPr. iPad air, and lots of camera gear.

Awaiting delivery of magic track pad 2.

Nothing amazing but it is mine, and allows me to have a office in a tiny space so I am happy.

Impressive setup, so many Mac Pros, if you don't mind me asking, what do you use them for?

:)
The 3.1 is my personal webserver / loadbalancer to the other three. Its connected to the internet
The other three hold a bunch of virtual machines that comprise the several layers of a web application (application servers, Databases, distributed caches). They are used for software development and testing (resilience, failover, etc). I know I could use regular pc hardware for that, but don't they look nice ? :) I just love these towers, pitty that they moved to trash cans.
I am also delving into the field of big data, and the three 5.1's are used for holding hadoop and friends, I generate the data myself and store it into these softwares, that are then used to make fast searches.
