See your writing a legal document...

What gave it away, the Westlaw window, the blue book, or the text on the PowerBook? ;) I'm working on a law review article proposing a slight expansion to the insurance continuation provisions of COBRA. I added a good 6 pages today, so we'll see how long it takes to finish up.

I love your setup, and all those motocross cutouts reminds me of my brothers room... how do you like your new keyboard? I want to pick one up eventually, not sure it's worth the cost though.

Thanks

The keyboard was well worth the cost.
Trust me, I love it. I thought it would be extremely hard to clean, and because it cannot be taken apart, I was worried. But I purchased two cans of compressed air, and it still looks brand new.

yes its a cool setup but apple has been talking about with any intel based copy of OSX when you install some new software it will check your hardware and if its not the right motherboard with the chip on it to tell it its an apple then it will mess things up but at the moment this is just talk from apple but hay i use to run Mac OS 10.4 Hackintosh for about 6months just dont like the lil downsides like auto up date can rake the system and other stuff but still ace setup

While I certainly appreciate the compliments and comments in general, but the way of the hackintosh has come a very long way, i do updates just like you would with osx on apple branded hardware, everything works exactly the way it would, except for this is a custom built computer. That is the only difference. Everything shows up as if it is a Mac Pro with 4 cores and 4 gigs of ram.

If Apple wants to take that route, then that is fine, I am confident that my system will keep running, because people will do what they want in the end. I feel like I have paid my dues and I purchase all of my OSX-based software including Leopard. Anyway, that is neither here nor there. Thanks again for the compliments though. It truly is an incredible system.

First setup post of the year (and second ever ). Just got the 20" display and managed to get hold of the damned DVI adapter. New aluKB and MX Revolution. Addition of a new iPod and the sub on the floor so quite a bit's changed; but anyway, the pics:

*Note to self: must get a bigger desk*

Thats a nice setup!! I've been looking at that desk from ikea. If you don't mind, I'd like the dimensions of the place your imac is, like how tall is it? 25" and how big is it from side to side, thanx!!

Thanks for the comments. I really like it. It is plenty big enough for me at the moment.

Well from the table top to the bottom of the first shelf, the height is 23 1/2"
and the width of the opening is 26 3/4"

I hope that helps.

Note: If you want more room from side to side. Just push the monitors further back. It widens up towards the back.

and how deep is it from the opening to the edge? as from where the place the imac sits in, to the place where you sit in the center. thanx btw!!
