Here's my setup:
You wish you could paint like that. :D
The tower its running from is a Dell Dimension 4400, with these specs:
1.6 P4 Processor
128 MB Nvida Graphics Card (Originally only 16MB!)
20GB stock HD, w/ 250 Gig external
Cd RW
768MB RAM
7 Years old, Been a good computer.

I commend you on keeping your machine running for 7 years. That speaks to how well you take care of your stuff. I've met many windows users who don't know how to maintain their systems, so it's refreshing to see someone who has pulled it off for so long. Thanks for sharing. :)

Lol my bad, I didnt realize i had TWO more inches of screen real estate!!

Hey guys! Somebody a while back posted a link to a product they had in their setup. It was a cable organizer that held individual wires much like a broom rack you place on the back of a closet. I'd use it to keep my wires falling back behind my desk when I take my Macbook with me.

Anybody have an idea of what that link was... or the name of the product?

Thanks!

I know what you are talking about it kinda looks like those things women put their toes in when they goto the salon to get them painted. Kinda hard spongy feel. So you can slide your cable in there and it will hold it in place... Right or am I off?

I think we're both thinking about the same thing! Any ideas what that thing was called?

New setup as of 03/03/08

2 ACD 30's, 1 24" Dell 2407WFP. 30's for my Mac Pro and Dell for my PC. I'll post specs up in a few.

BTW, if you use TIMG (instead of just IMG) tags it will scale the image to thumbnail size, which is better for a lot of people who browse with smaller screens.

Also the button next to the quote is multiquote, so you can reply to each person in the same post, rather than have consecutive posts, which are generally frowned upon.

Just some tips.

my new setups:

Desk for studying, bed for YouTube, Hulu and CBSinnertube (no need for a tv!)

Cool, thanks! :)

Here it is: my 5th Mac in less than a year. I just couldn't decide which I liked best. But I am definitely satisfied now. 2.4 Penryn MacBook Pro with my 1.1.3 OTB iPhone on T-Mobile. Mighty Mouse and slim keyboard. Now...time to make some credit card payments.

Care to elaborate?

Care to elaborate?

Sure.

1. Got a 1.83 Macbook Pro through school.

2. Wanted a speed bump; sold my MBP and got a new 2.2 C2D Macbook.

3. Missed the screen size; sold my Macbook, bought a used 17" 2.16 MBP

4. I felt insecure not having Apple Care, traded for someone's 2.0 C2D MB.

5. Busted the screen of my MB, sold it, bit the bullet and decided to buy a NEW computer this time.

I love it.
