Hey srl774,

Love your setup. Where did you get the Leopard wallpaper image on your desktop?

I've been looking everywhere for a decent Leopard wallpaper and cannot find any.

Much appreciated. :D

Here you go 1680x1050. That is the only resolution i have.

Update to my machac setup

Update to my machac setup.

Built a new shelf for it (since you can't buy the original shelves for the ikea jerker anymore, and also cut a new ipod dock into it for my compact flash modded 4th gen ipod).

enjoy.
click the image for a larger version and for a description of the hardware.

Brilliant adaptation for the shelf/dock. Love the cat. Thanks for sharing. :)

just rearranged today!!!

i swapped my moms 20 incher with a 13 inch display we had in a closet, and she didnt notice.. anyways, i connected it up to my iMac.

i dont think i have posted pictures of my blackbook either, anyways here they are. it looks so shiny because i applied a best skin ever on it (great by the way)

i didnt have enough room for all this so i "borrowed" a shelf that matched my desk height PERFECTLY from my sisters room. anyways, enough talking! lets get to the pictures!!!

There's no mac, but there is a computer running the Mac OS ;) Looking at the specs on the Flickr page, I noticed it's built out of highly compatible OSx86 components...and then I saw he actually said "Machac". I'm thinking of doing it myself, I need a fun project.

You are correct. I sold my macbook pro to fund the monitor and parts for building the super awesome quadcore box to run leopard. i didn't need a laptop anymore because i have a work laptop (as seen in the picture).

Anyway, in the last post your mac setup thread, you can see my macbook pro setup there. :)

I highly recommend an osx86 box, it has come a LONG way since leopard first came out, tiger and leopard are pretty much 1 disc installs now on an osx86 box.

Well, I accidentally killed my Mac mini while trying to upgrade the RAM, so right now this is my setup:

iBook G3 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB HDD, 10.4.10 (.11 really screwed up my mini, not taking my chances here)

It's a nice little backup machine, does it's job very well. (Though the screen is dead and the GPU is almost completely unseated, which means It has a permenant place as a desktop computer)

I believe 10.4 is more suited for PPC then Intel, as my 6 year old iBook runs Tiger faster then my 1 year old mini.

Sorry for poor image, my camera hates incandescent light.

Something is obviously wrong with your mini. My MacBook ran Tiger way faster than my iMac G5.

It's scary because my iBook has half the RAM, and less the half the processing power. But my mini would freeze up running just Safari and iChat. My iBook will run Safari, iChat, iTunes, Adium and Google Desktop flawlessly.

(This has something to do with .11, I'm sure of it. My iBook is 10.4.10, my mini was 10.4.11)

Yeah, something's definitely up with that. I never had any issues at all with my mini (1.66 Core Duo) which was running Tiger the whole time I had it. It was very fast and responsive.

Wow, I feel like I'm gonna cry, I can't believe you broke your mini :p. Oh well.

Could you check which brand / type the chair is? DO WANT!:eek:
I believe it is made by Lane. There is no sufficient model # on here. Just a lot of extra mumbo jumbo. If you really are serious about it, PM me and I'll take pics of the bottom of the chair and you can search out the #'s and what not or maybe contact the company.

I did try to help you out and search the net for a good 15 mins but to no avail searching for true seating concepts, which is the company name. But they do manufacture many other brands as you will see from their site.

A 32GB Flash card eh? Cool mod...where did you get the adapter and how much did you pay for the 32GB CF?
