Well, my setup changed, even though I didn't want it to! My external monitor died! It was only 18 months old, putting it just half a year out of warranty! I'll never buy a Gateway again...

Anyhoo, this'll have to do for now, at least while I'm at home...

Pretty simple; 13" 2GHz CD Macbook Rev A with 2GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD. Logitech Wave keyboard and G9 laser mouse. Bamboo FUN small graphic tablet. 500GB external HDD and a pair of Shure earphones and Sennheiser headphones. Oh, and an iPhone

****

But now I'm debating what I want to do for this coming school year, as I need more power. I figure I'll either sell the Macbook, and use the funds towards a Macbook Pro and external monitor, possibly a 22" Ultrasharp. OR... I could keep the Macbook, and get a 24" iMac... Decisions, decisions..

Sorry the pictures are so big. I bought pretty much everything inside the pictures, aside from the stereo system I boosted from my sister. I just turned 15 two weeks ago. I plan to ad a 2.8GHz iMac with 4GB of RAM and the NVIDIA GeForce 8800GS, along with an iPod touch to the mix. I'll eventually replace the speaker system I have now, for a 5.1 Home Theater System. I'm still deciding on that though (open to suggestions). BTW does anybody have any recommendations for a sturdy desk, preferably a corner or L shaped?

iMacDude, if you put a T in the when you post the pic links it will make them smaller thumbnails. So it will look like this: [img]http://www.url.com/pic/[TIMG/]
And you can always use this button, [IMG]http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/buttons/report.gif to report the post to the mods and let them fix it, you do not need to tell the person yourself, all that you have to do is hit this button
report.gif
, tell of what the problem is, and the mods will be notified. And chances are the problem will be solved quicker and the thread will not be bumped.

(and your example is incorrect :p)

haha, oops i guess the / goes before TIMG. Thanks for that info, I never knew what the /!\ was for :) and I'm sure this thread has gotten bumped for less of an issue in the past lol

That's a pretty cool setup kitteneater, love the greenery outside. What brand are the speakers?

Finally got around to taking some pictures of my new apartment. Still some things missing but otherwise this is the finished product more or less:

:apple:TV hooked up to a Samsung LN46A650.

It's been ages I posted here, and my setup changed a bit since last time:

web.jpg

I was thinking of buying a Mac Mini or basic MacBook as a backup in case my MacBook Pro would be defect. (I need my Mac for school and work so it's, as it is for many people, a necessity)

But recently I had the chance to buy a second hand MacBook Pro, so now I've got an even better backup :)
It's a 2,33Ghz with 2GB RAM and a 200Gb HD, and although the SuperDrive is broken and the lid needs a bit of pressure before it closes, it's still a good laptop :)

web.jpg

They are becoming a bit of an obsession lately...

The SE/30 still works. And the cool thing is, it starts up faster than my 2,4Ghz 4GB MBP! Just wicked...

Not all of them are real ones and only some work, but:
The Gen3 is my portably HD, because the battery is very very weak
The iPod Photo I use on vacation, especially since my 5Gen died.. (the one with the blakc corner)

The iPhone I use on a daily basis, and I bought myself a pink shuffle, just to be different but I changed it to a 2GB blue one for a bit more music variation while sporting.

And all the other ones are either dummies (the nano's), or just dead bricks :)
