i have the same pedal for my guitar
its so confusing though.
and when tried to install the sftware on my macbook, it wouldnt read the disc

What about it do you find confusing? Other than some of the stuff deep in the menus, I don't think it's too bad.

As far as the software, X-Edit is available online to download (thats for editing the presets on the computer as well as storing and downloading new presets.) The included recording software for macs I find greatly inferior to Garageband. It's very had to use and I don't think it has midi sequencing. For a device aimed at home users, included recording software should at least have those two characteristics. The included software for PCs wasn't bad when I used to use a PC, but that doesn't do me too much good now :D The Lexicon reverb plug in is great though, and I don't know if that is online or not, however I would guess not...

Chico, is that your house or business place?
Place of business. 3rd story loft :)

That's a long story for another thread :) We have multiple machines. Few macbook pros, imac, powerbook, macpro....really a good mix. My main guys all have macbook pro's with 23 displays.

Here's my current setup. It usually changes every few weeks. You might be able to tell that I enjoyed Wall-E just a little bit. :)

Is that a Kindle? I keep thinking about getting one, but I can't decide. How do you like it, and what do you read on it? I'm thinking of switching out the traditional newspaper for the Kindle version.

Thanks.

Wow! That's *exactly* the kind of desk I need for this itty-bitty bedroom I have when I'm home from college! Mind telling me where you got it?

As much as I resent "validating" web code with these tools, it is embarrassing for a web design company not to have the best code possible.

Firstly, he's doing what he always does in threads. Secondly, it really doesn't matter.

I've owned and ran a web design company and those errors are nothing really.

I just wanted to know why it made him chuckle. I'm tempted to put him on ignore, he's easily the most annoying poster on MR.

where did you get that high resolution display picture?!

I took this image: http://www.ramasscreen.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/wallfinalbig.jpg and cropped it to 1920x1200. I love that movie!

I used to have a Sony Reader but sold it when the Kindle was announced. I got the Kindle at the beginning of June and have thus far read 4 books on it. The experience is fantastic, as if Apple designed the user interface. As far as replacing your newspaper, it does an adequate job, but the screen size is meant for book reading. It also has a built-in web browser, so you can use google reader or bloglines for rss feeds. I've currently got an M-Edge brown leather cover on it, because though the cover that comes with the Kindle is alright, this is much improved. Attached are a couple of close-ups. Let me know if you have any questions.

ChicoWeb, love the studio. I'm not a web designer, but like your WD site. I did notice your logo on the footer looks blurry, though? Like it got resized? Nice color scheme as well. :)

I picked it up from Office Depot for 50 bucks. It's an Office Depot brand multi-level desk. It does the job, but it's more an interim replacement for the moment. Solid, though. I don't have an IKEA here in Las Vegas.

I am thinking that you should do up your own thread in this section when you are all setup. I would love to see the rest of the place.
