The only drawback, and it's a minor one, is that the remote doesn't "stick" to the side of the Alum iMac, as it does on the petroleum-based one. :p

But the foot does just as well.

I am in the majority for once in my life. I love the aluminum look and traded my white plastic iMac in as soon as the aluminum ones came out. It just seems so much more classy to me.

Then I had to trade my BlackBook in for an Air, so my laptop matched. :)
 
It's not from IKEA. :p I bought it at a local shop for tables and chairs. It's a pretty simple and cheap dinner table.
 
as you see in my sig, i just purchased an mstand and a 22" lcd.. too bad by the time they get here my MBP will be on its way to an applecare facilility

Does that Lacie HD match the aluminum on your iMac pretty well? I've been looking at getting one for my MacBook Pro and was wondering if they might clash.
Well, it's darker so it doesn't match 100% but it looks pretty good next to the Alu iMacs in my opinion. :)
