Great setup man, I am assuming that those monitors are one for the MacBook Pro and the other for the iMac, or are you doing something else with them?

Thanks
Yes, unfortunatly the iMac can only push one monitor. THe left 19'' is for the MBP.

I wish I could afford a couple23'' cinemas, as having the extra realestate is aweosme for editing work, and working with photo shop.

How is the ratio difference, is it all that noticable?

Negligible. All screens look crisp, however the color on the 24'' iMac is the best, thats the only big difference, It really makes pictures look 10x's better then on the Samsung. However, since I use the secondary display for things like; brushes, quick view samples, etc, its all good.
I especially like using the smaller displays for viewing articles or written work when I'm doing research or number crunching. Excel is AWESOME

I meant more along the lines of 16:9 vs 4:3 ratio difference between the monitor of the macs compared to the other monitors, it just seems like something that would bother me.

Since I use the other monitors for specific tasks, it isn't something that bothers me as I'm not bouncing the same program back and forth between the two aspect raitos. I don't know if that helps answer your quesiton?

Is that stool your chair?

Wow.
I don't think I would be able to feel my butt if I had to sit on that thing. :p
My butt could fit on it I guess, but I won't chance it. ;)
I think she stands on it, but I'm not entirely sure. ;)
I wouldn't advise that. At least it's not stable for me.
i assume she moved her chair out of the way and uses that as a footstool
i have one too. its quite nice.
Exactly. Keeps my feet out of the basket-o-cables I have to the right of it.
That is an awfully small stool for such a mighty setup! :p
I didn't feel the need to compensate. My chair is big though, maybe that'll help matters.

Yup, that's it. The 'in an ideal world' setup. (Id perhaps change to a wired mouse tho). Very jealous, but we all know these nice things are worth working and saving for....

Well my set up is in my living room on my espresso coffee table and being that I have 2 small children the wired mouse isn't really an option they would seriously trip over the cords and may even send the Mbp flying to the ground :(

I have to agree, I hate apple mice with a passion. Atleast the wireless ones. I'm using a Logitech G7 right now, and I really like it. I think I'll be keeping it for a while.

I'm going to get some pictures of my new setup soon. Just waiting for batteries to charge xD

Where I left:

Where I moved: (Into the basement, much cooler. And we should be finishing it soon...ish)

A few more shots, excuse my lack of photography skills.

What we have here is my Dell XPS which is forsale, 22" Samsung, 20" LG (connected to the 360), Old pioneer amp, big old speakers...they need new foam on the subs, I'll probably throw them out soon, 7.1 Creatives, LG Shine...some other stuff. I plan on selling everything except the Powerbook, G7, 360 and 22" Samsung. Then getting a decent sized external and some nice bookshelf speakers.

Enjoy.

Oh forgot to mention the specs of the Powerbook. I just got it about a week ago and am in love! I only turned on the pc for pics  I paid $575 CAN for it, it has a few issues though, the screen flickers when it is moved sometimes, there is decent wear form the previous owners wrist in the bottom right, and the back of the screen is about 4-5mm unsealed in one corner. I hope it runs alright for the next few months, I'm hoping it will last me until next fall so I can get a new macbook before University. Anyways back to the point, Specs:

1.5ghz G4
1gb
80gb hdd
combo drive
its the backlit light sensor KB version, with bluetooth 2.0 xD

The price you have to pay for kids and easy living these days! As for me, when I had wireless mouse, I was forever cursed at 3am with low batteries and no replacements lying around! Nightmare stressful situation before my finals!

Recently painted the room a nice burnt orange, maple leaf-ish color. It looks strange in this picture because of the wacky lighting going on, but it's an extremely pleasing color and much more inviting and warm than the off-white of before. Great improvement.

Where's the painting/print from?

I think if i ever owned my own place i would never have white or off white walls
its just a bit too boring

i like green and grey.

My bedroom is a nice tranquil green/light green color. Ridiculously relaxing color.

The TOBY print is from this old frame shop in Atlanta, I don't even know if it still exists but I bought it on the spot while getting other artwork framed and had them do the framing on it as well. It's been with the room for nearly a decade now I'd say.

EDIT: I found a similiar print here.

Overkill on the purple HDR, yes. But my setup, with my Macbook under the desk waiting for the 12" Powerbook to arrive tomorrow.

Edit: The screen looks normal in person, must be the HDR, I'm n00b with it.

This is my setup when I initially got my iMac about 1 month ago. It is side by side my brother's custom built PC. I was using it while he was away.
My iMac Specs:
- 20" iMac 2.66GHz; 2GB Ram; 320GB HDD
- Wireless Keyboard + Mighty Mouse

After

IMG_1966.jpg

Brother came back from his business trip and I have moved back upstairs. I have since also replaced the BT Keyboard with a wired one (miss the fn, delete>, home, end, etc buttons and the number pad). Also couldnt use the mighty mouse for everyday esp with Photoshop so I picked up a nice matching white/silver BT Logitech v470.
