heres my setup… sorry about the picture quality, its winter and my camera is only 2 megapixels

its pretty much the same as my other setup pic if you want to take a look at it except my MBP's screen is open to keep it cool. i like to turn off the screen as animations become choppy with it on and you can also see from the reflection that my MBP is glossy while the Cinema Display is not.

It's been a long, long while since I started following this thread, but I never decided to post my setup.

Well, here it is. (Sorry for the so-so quality, my cam is quite old)

My setup includes :

- 20" iMac 2.16 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HD, 256 MB VRAM with Aluminum keyboard and Mighty Mouse
(iMac bought in March 2007)

- 8 GB iPod Touch (bought in October) with Software 1.1.4 Jailbroken with Apple USB Power Adapter

- 5 years old Altec Lansing Speakers
- LaCie F.A. Porsches 500 GB External HD
- Canon Pixma MP-180 Printer
- Spare Never-Opened White Apple Keyboard
- USB Key 64 MB a friend of mine gave me...Never used it...

I absolutely love this setup. A+

Thanks :) I really love the way the silver contrasts with then new paint color, I also did a cool wall setup on the opposite wall that really opened up the space by eliminating a floor-standing media bookcase

A little off-topic but it is a "present" update:

I counted 130 Blue Rays. Plus the Lost Season on Blue Ray which is like 80 Bucks.
If the average Blue Ray is about $26 a piece..
That adds up toooooooo....

$3,460.

Nice Collection. :p

You got some nice goodies after all of that stuff got stolen. :)

hey Knapman. my brothers LCD is indeed a 19". I know when I put my 20" next to it, the Samsung does look tiny!!!
I'll try to get a few better pics with my new keyboard and hopefully iPhone tomorrow, plus my iPods, etc.

Would you mind sharing where you got those shelves?

The shelves are from IKEA for 5 bucks each but they raised the price to 8 recently.

This is just my HD media and its about even between HD DVD and BD because I had HD about a year prior to getting BD.

Embarrassingly, the insurance money wasn't put towards movies, solely the Mac Pro. But there was one fantastic thing about the format war: Sales and Buy-One-Get-One (and even in some cases Buy-One-Get-Two)

I appreciate all of the compliments :)

Recently painted the room a nice burnt orange, maple leaf-ish color. It looks strange in this picture because of the wacky lighting going on, but it's an extremely pleasing color and much more inviting and warm than the off-white of before. Great improvement.

Love it! Just wondering what those speakers are, Ive been eyeing them off for ages but never had any luck finding out the brand...

UM - do you have the paint information for that room? I tried paiting my room at burnt orange and it turned out way too dark. It looks like yours is just what I was looking for!

Brand/Paint color,number

Thanks!

Overkill on the purple HDR, yes. But my setup, with my Macbook under the desk waiting for the 12" Powerbook to arrive tomorrow.

Edit: The screen looks normal in person, must be the HDR, I'm n00b with it.

that's awesome, whats that light?

Good eye :) I love me some Oakleys. At one point I had 5 pairs but the two newest babies were taken with the rest of the goods stolen from me. Saw in the paper that a group was caught in the area with over 1,000 laptops so well see if my poor baby PB or any of my other stuff turns up.

Very nice. My current collection includes the Square Wires, WHY 8.2 (might be my favorite), and Half Jackets. The two that were stolen were matte black Canteens and pewter Crosshairs. I never even got the chance to wear the Crosshairs and I really loved the Canteens. I'm going to replace them and I'm also thinking about getting the Titanium Spike but I'd like to see how they look in person first. :) gotta love the O. Makes the wallet lighter, that's for sure.

I enjoy this set up much more.
The thought of kids accidentally throwing a ball or something and hitting your precious set up horrifies me. :p
