That's really nice, you've got a nice big workspace. I'm guessing those speakers are the Logitech Z-2300's? Do you find the size of the sub annoying, or do you have enough room for it to just not matter?

Got myself a sexy new steelseries 5L mousepad yesterday. :D

Great setup! What's it like going from a glossy screen to a matte screen? Looks awesome anyway.

Some new pics

I bought another Mac Kinesis keyboard for my iMac after a Coke blew up on the older PC Kinesis I was using.

Also bought some new DVI cables for my MacPro from Monoprice. They are pretty hardcore cables (24 AWG), but they didn't solve a flicker-when-wake-from-sleep I am seeing on one of my monitors. Maybe it's just the monitor.

Yumm. Are those spring rolls??

Yep.

What monitor is that beside the iMac?

It's a crappy 24" Gateway. It was the cheapest 24" I could get in a store at the time (~$720, ~2 yrs ago). I needed a 24" monitor immediately. Actually, it's an OK screen, but I had 5 others at one point and they were all pretty bad (backlight buzz, whacked color issues)--except for this one and one other.

Some snaps of my setup. Quality isn't that good (lighting and camera are crap). I will probably make some new ones later on.

Setup:

Klipsch 2.1 Speakers
MacBookPro 15 " C2D
HP w2007v Display
Ipod Touch 16Gb
Ipod Nano 8Gb

enjoy

Here's the new apartment at college. Pretty nice, especially when I have my own room, a kitchen, and a living room thing. However, the living room isn't being used now.

I'm in some desperate need of posters or something :p (also iPhone pics :))

How is the 5L? I have a Qck Heavy and it's not only too darn big, it's not really smooth enough for a laser mouse.

I got it offer Woot, so I didn't know what I had bought until I got the tube.

Ha, I have one of those R2-D2 robotics things somewhere in my basement! LOL
Nice setup, I like the shelf. I saw something like that at Ikea last time I visited.

iMac 20'' 2.0 GHz Core Duo + 22'' Samsung Syncmaster 220wm

Kind of a crappy pic, just took it quickly with my iPhone. The light coming through looked kind of cool when I took it. Not so much anymore.

I'll take a better pic when I've got my regular camera and when my desk is somewhat presentable (which is almost never).

Very simple. Ikea is a great idea if you want a modern look without breaking the bank. Everyone seems to like the Mikael (sp?) desk.

<snip photos>

Seriously considering dropping the iMac and just getting an external monitor for the macbook...

If your seriously considering dropping the iMac, then I'm seriously considering letting you give it to me! :D:D:D
