That's really nice, you've got a nice big workspace. I'm guessing those speakers are the Logitech Z-2300's? Do you find the size of the sub annoying, or do you have enough room for it to just not matter?
They are Z-2300's, that's right. The sub is pretty big, but I have enough space under my table so it's not really a problem for me. :)

Messy cables under the desk I know, but I can live with it. This setup is kind of temporary, trying to get the cash together for an iMac. The G15 keyboard is from my Windows PC that was under the right side of the desk, but removed it because I'm trying to sell it.

just wondering: are you selling the G15 with the PC or are you going to hook it up to the mac? logitech doesn't provide any sort of mac drivers with it

New Mac Pro Setup

Been meaning to post my new mac pro setup for a couple of weeks. I cleaned up my desk today since I finished summer quarter of school and figured I might as well snap a few pics before I dirtied it up again. Hope you all like my setup.

That looks great. All the black matches the dark wood, offset by the silver of the ACD. Is that the Logitech DiNovo Edge? How do you like it? Is it worth the high price tag?

And how expensive are the toner cartridges? Personally I think that's one of the most important deciding factors in purchasing a printer, which is why I've stuck with HP and Brother over the years. Cheap and easy to find.

is that a matrox DualHead2Go i spy? how do you like it, and where did you buy it from?(im in uk also)
What configurations can you have it in? can you have it so it acts like dual monitoring would on a mac pro, a main screen and secondary screen with the dock not extending over the 2.
I have a 22"samsung and use my 15" macbook pro as my 2nd monitor but would be nice to have dual 22"s.
Nice setup!

Thanks
Andrew

Mainly, I use them for watching a DVD or video on one and general work on the other (at the moment, I have scrubs on one and am using the other for web browsing), but when I do website design, it is awesome to have the added size! A browser showing me the changes, TextMate, Fireworks and a browser showing the CMS all next to each other :)

Speakers BEHIND monitors? That can't sound good. Maybe I'm just an audiophile, but I couldn't handle that!

I'm not an audiophile :) - and I only use the speakers for playing music and watching DVDs. The problem is that I couldn't find anywhere else to put them! They are also very cheap speakers with a separate bass on the floor. For some reason, I care a lot about how the screens and my photos look, but I don't really care how things sound.

It's actually a TrippleHead2Go - I needed one that could support 3840x1200. Unfortunately, for OS X, they are just treated as one monitor, which makes it really annoying with all errors and messages appearing half way accross each of them. Windows apparently treats them as 2, but I've never tried - I'm used to how they work now, and I really like having the dock and menu bar span across both.

I bought it from Dabs about 4 months ago (they were the cheapest, and the best!)
