That looks great. All the black matches the dark wood, offset by the silver of the ACD. Is that the Logitech DiNovo Edge? How do you like it? Is it worth the high price tag?
It is a DiNovo edge. It is by far the best keyboard I have ever used in terms of both comfortability and style. I think it is worth the price since I am not a big fan of the new apple keyboards and logitech makes great peripherals.
That's a seriously good-lookin' printer...how well does it print?
It prints very well, mind you it is only B&W. It is extremely quiet and fast as well.
And how expensive are the toner cartridges? Personally I think that's one of the most important deciding factors in purchasing a printer, which is why I've stuck with HP and Brother over the years. Cheap and easy to find.
The toner cartridges are like $75 I believe.

Been meaning to post my new mac pro setup for a couple of weeks. I cleaned up my desk today since I finished summer quarter of school and figured I might as well snap a few pics before I dirtied it up again. Hope you all like my setup.

What speakers are those?
Audioengines?

Huzzah!, my eMac hath arrived!

Thats a awsome setup! I love how you placed the two monitors in the bookshelf above the main one, this is aspiring me to do the same in my built in! congrats on the pro to!

OMG. That's genius with the monitors! love it! and congrats on the Mac Pro. If you don't like it, can I have it?

BTW, in response to an earlier post, I had the dinovo edge. It was awful. For a scissor keyboard it had a great feel, but the bluetooth electronics aren't the best and it always was on the fritz. I wish they had a wired version. The keys are also a lot more fragile than most scissor keyboards and it wore out on me after an unacceptably short time for such an expensive piece of board. That said, I do a lot of typing... good riddance.

Made a couple additions:
-Bose Companion 3 Speakers (Absolutely AMAZING!!! :D)
-BT Keyboard & Wireless Mighty Mouse

I don't know what I'd do if I had to look at all those cables dangling!

I don't know if someone already mentioned it but you could use some software to access multiple computers using the same keyboard and mouse. I personally use Synergy, an open-source application.

new to the forums, but have been viewing for a long time.. finally pulled the trigger and bought myself a MBP. (iPhone is missing)

just curious - why? I'm actually giving away a 1 Ghz emac to a forum member here because I just have no use for it. What could you possibly want with it that your imac wouldn't be 10x better at?

That eMac is my uni computer, the iMac is the family computer which I'm not allowed to keep in my room.

The eMac isn't used for brilliance, I'm using it for writing essays, etc; simple stuff, not Photoshop and the like, that is done on the iMac.

They're beside each other there because I'm using an ethernet cable to move music from the iMac to the eMac, the eMac is in my room now.

Thanks, it was really simple for me to put them onto the bookshelf, I recommend some strong cooking grade string. :p That sounds dangerous but they have been up their for about 5 months without issue so it seems to be doing the job.

Thanks! I found an alternative to Synergy, as I do not have a PC or Linux machine in my setup. Teleport is an all Mac alternative and it is amazing! Everyone should check it out if you have two machines at the same desk :)

With such an intricate way of ensuring your monitors look good, it's just unfortunate that you don't really seem to have anywhere to hide that big, clunky and ugly Mac tower.

Heres mine before I got my thin Apple keyboard. Just found it floating on my HDD so I apologise if I already posted this.

C2D 2ghz iMac, 20" Dell thingy, 12" PowerBook, Tevion tablet, Razer Habu and MS Explorer mouse thingy, Roland E-28 (with M Uno midi-USB cable), Pioneer SA amp, Realistic EQ, 80gb iPod 5.5G, various external HDD's, 360 wired controller, Kensington 7 port USB hub, EyeTV for DTT, Rega speakers.

Soon to be replaced with maxed out 24" iMac and 15" MBP.
