The desk with the music equipment on it is a piece of plywood on cinder blocks, wrapped in an Ikea curtain. It sits in a room full of real furniture, and quite a few people have commented on how nice it looks before they find out what it is... Cheap, fast, sturdy.

"GoodDay" was the photo tag because the space was actually clean.

is that a xone 92? how do you find it? I've got a djm600 which is about 4 years old and I'm thinking of upgrading but not decided between the 92 and the djm800. The filters on the 92 are so sexy! you played on a djm800 before?

I like that quite a bit. Very white, but looks very clean and functional. I'm a big fan of the Al iMacs, but those white imacs are still really nice.

Thanks! The "whiteness" wasn't really intentional. I think it's just a subconscious thing. :D

Here's mine. It's been this way for a long time, and I'm getting a little bored with it, but it works.

I like...looks like you do like all white as I like all black (for the most part).

It is a 92. I love it!

I have never been a fan of the DJM series, but they are the mixer in front of my 90% of the time I play out. The 800 is a big improvement from the 5/600 for me. I miss the UK where almost every club big or small had a Xone or Rane installed!

I hardly use effects, and I love the build quality, feel, and general intuitiveness of the Xones. The filters are wonderful, and the EQ is perfection. The phono preamps are also much nicer than the competition. The only con is the price. It is very expensive in the states, but I would make the same purchase if I did it again today.

How much was the case? Easy to install? Link? Not that I want one, but it is pretty interesting.

Very easy to install. (snap, crackle, pop!)
I believe it was around 50ish; I received it for my birthday in August.

The case is made by Speck just like the cases Macbook/Macbook Pro/Macbook Air users have for their laptops. They come in a variety of colors (red, pink, aqua and black).
Check it out here...http://www.speckproducts.com/products/seethru/imac-20/120

Isn't it just for the Al iMac?

I was going to get one for my white C2D to match my blackbook.

The website states the cases are for "iMac 20-inch widescreen" and they have another one for the 24-inch. They have not really specified if it's exclusively for the Alu iMac's but based on the picture, I would assume so.

On the other hand, I bet there are other places that have cases similar to this for the white C2D iMac's.

I've looked and couldn't find any :( I just don't understand it, you'd think there would be more demand to customize the "older" iMacs now not the newer ones :p

It's usually harder to find products once the newer one's come out because the demand isn't as high.

Ok this is my first post. I've been checkin out this forum for a couple of years now and have recently sold my macbook and picked up a brand new 20" IMac 2.66GHz. The macbook was the first Apple computer that i have personally owned and i have never gone back to any windows based computer.

Here is my setup: (Hopefully i did this right)

2847555420_70e6dd181e_o.jpg

In the picture is the IMac along side a 2007WFP, Logitech z-5300 speakers, old sony external DVD burner, OWC quad interface external hard drive enclosure with a 250GB Seagate Drive inside, Apple AL Keyboard and Logitech G5 Mouse. OH and of course my San Diego Padres Clock. (its tough to be a Padres Fan this year)

P.S.
i love this forum i have had a few problems solved just by searching through it. :D
