Haha, same thought here. Maybe a ceiling mount is a good solution. Are you a giraffe?

^ Pretty slick setup you got there.
Is this in a dorm or home?
That looks like a long fall for the Mac Pro if it gets bumped. I'd be a little more leery of putting such an investment in a precarious spot like that.Just got my Mac Pro on Tuesday and set it up in my dorm on the small-ass desk provided by the school:
Dual 2.8GHz, 6GB RAM, 8800GT card

Good point. But to be honest, the photo is a little deceptive (perhaps it's the angle?) because there is a good few inches between the edge of the case and the edge of the desk. Also, like any smart college student would do, I locked my computer to the bed with a U-lock.
Edit: I measured the distance....four inches. But you guys are probably right, so I moved it further away from the edge.
Thanks for the advice
I find that it's pretty difficult to accidentally topple an almost 50 lb Mac Pro. They're pretty hard to tip over, even on whim.

And for even more clutter free sweetness cannon printer and Lacie 320 GB hard drive in the closet
Any suggestions anyone?
and sorry for the bad pics. From my Samung instinct. (Iphone one day once I can get off Telus)
Also, get a cover plate for that outlet, dust is capable of starting fires in open outlet sockets.
Proof? Never heard of this in my life.

Well its not a formally documented problem but just in general, Dust + Spark = Flame, and an open receptacle will collect much more dust than one with a cover.
*I didn't mean to induce panic about anyone's outlets lol
It's best to use cover plates anyway, just for general safety, especially in a frequented area like the computer using two power strips.
Ha. I was thinking the setup looked really tall, too.
Which means that
A: Dust has to build up IN the outlet
B: Have enough to become conductive.
Not true one bit, and has never happened to anyone in the world.
