That color looks really nice. Plus, your MBP looks pretty good in that setup, despite being held on top of CD racks, along with the wireless keyboard and mouse.

Thanks. Maybe someday I'll actually get a Griffin Elevator :p

Thanks to UMHurricanes34 for helping me find the paint color that I'd been looking for!

You stole my walls!

Glad to see you finally get it all finished up Nick, looks great. It's a pretty soothing color and it's pretty hard to get a good photo that does justice to the tint of it. The picture I just posted is pretty close, but it's just a really rich color that looks great in all light.

Congrats!

On another note, my MX Revolution is due to arrive tomorrow (hopefully) so I'll throw up some new pics with it. I'm sick of having to replace the overpriced Mighty Mouse every time the scroll ball dies.

I really hope you're joking, cause what I was trying to say was not that complicated. Again, I will profess my hate for emotionless text. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

I am. I apologize for any confusion with the dry dry sarcasm.

I don't usually do this, but after lurking this thread for so long, figured I'd share. BTW, I usually keep the light a lot dimmer, but brightened it for the photo (...like you really care). Edit: One more thing, I know the wire on the wall doesn't look great, but I rent...when I move into something more permanent, I'll give a damn.

Is that Dell monitor used to play the PS3, or do you also have TV hooked up? Either way, that's an awesome spot for the PS3, looks awesome.

I use the 20" hooked up to the PS3 via HDMI>DVI, but it spends more time as the primary screen via VGA for my iBook.

I have an old school (curved screen) 20" Sony TV I almost never use except on the rare occasions I want to watch something on cable.

Yeah, my setup is in my Star Wars collection room.

At least you have a room for your Star Wars stuff; all my Star Wars collection pieces sit in numerous storage containers and an old dresser :(

Hehe that reminds me of my first desk ever. It was two file cabinets with a piece of plywood across the top. The cabinets weren't even the same size, so I had to use magazines as shims to keep the top level. The CRT i had was so heavy the plywood would bow in the middle so I had to use a wooden dowel 3 inches in diameter for a support in the middle lol. Those were the good days

The desk with the music equipment on it is a piece of plywood on cinder blocks, wrapped in an Ikea curtain. It sits in a room full of real furniture, and quite a few people have commented on how nice it looks before they find out what it is... Cheap, fast, sturdy.

"GoodDay" was the photo tag because the space was actually clean.

Here's mine. It's been this way for a long time, and I'm getting a little bored with it, but it works.

Looks like you have a lot of stuff to tinker around with. What the heck do you do with all of it? Seems like you have stuff to keep you busy for quite some time. Personally, I barely know how to do anything with the hardware, only change RAM. It would be pretty cool to have extensive knowledge of all that equipment.
