Replaced the old iBook with a unibody Macbook. Other than that, nothing's changed.

Still love your setup, hmai18. I looked up that Allsop moniter stand and it turns out it's about $60 at Staples, which was a little steep for me, so I ended up making my own, but if I still had a Macintosh setup, yours is pretty much what I'd want it to be. Nice big desk, a bamboo plant, a PS3 or Xbox and a MacBook with an Ultrasharp Monitor. Very nice!

Nice keyboard too. I swear my by classic BT keyboard. The new ones are awful.

Also..have you been experiencing any probs with running an external display? Mine keeps going black every couple of minutes(MB 2.4+Syncmaster).

$60 at Staples...

That's kind of ridiculous. I paid $35 for it here in the US. And I kind of have mixed feelings about the classic BT keyboard. I love being wireless and having the number pad there, but I prefer typing on the chiclets. However, I refuse to pay $60 for the new scaled down BT keyboard and would rather avoid the wired USB one.

About the screen, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I have my power settings set to turn my screen off after 15 minutes of idle, so that's about it.

Here is my current setup. Excuse the lack of pictures on the wall. We just moved and we have not had a chance to decorate.

It's hooked up to the mbp. When I travel, my wife hooks up our old mb and uses the same setup. It's almost like a docking station, we are very happy with it.

Glad you like it!

Is the ACD just hooked up the mbp?

but without any pictures on the wall it makes it look very clean and nice.
i like it a lot.

How exactly would that work? 5 more inches in diagonal space, but nothing more in height?

I don't think that Pythagoras would be very happy with you right now.

well, i meant the mbp on the griffin stand

where are all your wires, through the wall or something?? nice clean set up and i love the desk!

The black deal on the left side of the desk has a charger / surge protector in it. Most of the wires are in there. The rest I routed along the back of the desk to keep them hidden. I'm kinda OCD with wires.

Wow, I absolutely love your setup, no wires, & clean and simple. I really like your box collection/display as well. I've been saving my boxes for a while now, just haven't truly put them on display. One of the better setups here in my mind.

Glad you like the box setup. My wife thinks I am nuts. I generally say, "Whatever, just give me your Apple box". :D
