Haha, I think it's a joke...in light of recent politics.

Edit: OP posted before me. That too, I guess :)

Here it is for this week. Should stay like this for a while.

My Powermac G4 is next to the desk, sounding like a wind tunnel, and hosting my Freeagent 500GB drive.

WOW, that's a big tablet. Is it a Graphire? It must have cost you a fortune! The workable area looks bigger than your monitor!

Yeh it is pretty big! It's a Intuos GD-121-U. Very old though but still works great! It should have cost me a fortune... It belonged to my old school and I used to use it when I was in my design class. No-one else ever used it so my design teacher told me I could take it home whenever I wanted to. At the end of the year when I left school he said that he would sell it to me for $50AU! Thats just over $30US! I couldn't turn down that offer!
It is bigger than my monitor! Because of it's age its a 4:3, so if I used the whole lot any drawings would come up squashed, so I changed the mapping to 'force proportions' which means the bottom strip doesn't work... But I love using it!

Wow, I love this setup! How are those drums???

Drums are great! Unfortunately one of the cables doesn't work, so my floor tom doesn't work, so I'll have to get around to sending that off... But other than that it's great! Just need to get some kind of sound interface so that I can plug it into my mac!
Would have loved the DTXtreme - but that was a little out of my budget...

Unfortunately for me, apparently Arizona hates technology. I have never found anything electronic in the trash :(
Every so often I get lucky, because my university has huge clear-out sessions & leaves huge piles of old kit lying outside waiting for a large lorry to come pick it all up & take it away for recycling. Until the lorry comes it's free pics!

I never bothered grabbing any of the boring old Apple desktops, thigns like Performa 6400's, but I grabbed a working toilet-seat iBook & a white G4 iBook which I sold on eBay & made enough to buy myself a new monitor :) I've got a lampshade iMac in the cupbaord too, which has a faulty NIC & a dodgy hard disk, but I grab stuff like that more as a design icon than for usage.

I have those speakers! I love 'em too. The sub is very, very good.

For +/- 8 years old they're great! I've had no reason to upgrade, since they're great quality. I also have ROKIT 5 monitors in the room next door so I just have to get some cables for that I may end up using those.

I recently built a modification for my desktop so my monitors tilt forward 45º, to match my chair which reclines that far.

I worked most of the week and just finished ten minutes ago.

I've always loved your setup, Bwa. The Classic is a great addition

Thanks guys. It's my girlfriend's Classic. She keeps saying "let's throw it away," but I've always regretted throwing away _my_ Classic II, so I've insisted we not toss it. My 128 better still be in storage at my parent's house. The CRT died on the 128 in 1993 the week I bought my Classic II (on closeout), sadly.

Maybe I'll try to get some pictures of the 128 up next month.

Seems like the strain on your wrists would be pretty intense if you don't adjust the keyboard somehow while sitting in that position?

I've seen several people on the [H] forums with a set-up like this (think it was [H] anyway).

I was thinking of getting a split keyboard, but I don't like any of them as much as my old Apple Pro Keyboard.

My wrist rest is pretty soft, and has served me well for quite a long time.

I was also thinking of getting a chorded keyboard. Has anyone had any success with one?

There is a lively discussion going on at Macintouch about keyboards; might be worth asking there. As far as I know, the BAT is the longest/oldest selling keyboard in this vein. The newcomer seems to be the FrogPad. I've never tried any of these, though.
