Here's my setup at home. I originally had just the iMac, but then put together a PC system just because I missed putzing around with hardware and crappy software (Windows)...

Then I realized that I loved the hardware part, but that Windows was as horrible as ever and that I really never liked Windows. So, I decided to put my hand to work on a Hackintosh.

With relatively little trouble (had to buy a new GFX card), I got Leopard up and running on the machine nearly flawlessly (the black one in the pic). The second attempt to install Vista hung 3 times, froze up, and when I finally got it loaded up it would endlessly hang on "Configuring Updates" after downloading updates.

Believe it or not... Leopard was much easier and less hassle to install on my PC than Vista!!
:p Windows

Ok before I post these pictures you have to keep in mind that we are in the middle of having an extension put on our home so I have had to move my entire home computer setup, among many other things, into a tiny little room. The extension is for a bigger family room and a much bigger computer room so I can bring my computer set up at my photography studio home. It should be done by the first of July and hopefully it will have made the last 9 months of this nightmare worth it. I see everyone in here with a nice a tidy computer set up and I vaguely remember what that used to be like. I have tried to make the best of it, I even mounted my speakers on the wall and hung a few pictures, lol.

A Peek at the mess behind the computers. Its much much worse in reality!

I even have Hard Drives on the ground, lol.

Its a nightmare and like with the cords, its much worse in reality.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Holy crap...

I feel so much better about my setup now. :D

Its even worse than it looks. What you cant see behind those boxes on the left are my 3 printers stacked one on top of the other and underneath those boxes is my Lacie 7.5 TB RAID. A lot of stuff I simply boxed up until the house is finished. Oh yeah there is another external HD that has fallen behind the woofers that I haven't dug out yet. Its still connected and still working so I haven't bothered. As for my Wacom tablet, I still cat seem to find that, lol.

Is that a Money Tree (Pachira aquatica)? How well has it been growing for you? Mine has been about the same height for the past half a year almost ='[.

Simply, yet effective setup :).

Thanks! :) Yea, it's a money tree. Honestly, I've only had it for about a week. It was a present from my dad.

Sorry about the jaunty angle, I wasn't holding the camera straight & had to rotate it (didn't want to crop it & chop the corners off either!).

sweet dreamcast. i miss playing tokyo extreme racer 2 :(

Agreed, great game. I actually still own all of my games, like 75 in total. Its just my console went down a few years back and I just never replaced it. The games are just sitting in storage right now. I should just hop over to eBay and pick one up. Then again that would be just another thing hooked up to my HDTV and that is not something I need.

I have the same ball as you! But don't use it though, I watch a lot of movies and like to lean back a little, lol.

How on earth can you tell which ball I have from those photos...? They all look near exactly the same, no matter what brand they are!

Yeah well I have the ball that LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME as yours lol. Is good for stretching purposes, but I tend to get too jumpy if I sit on it the whole time :D
