Thanks its a 20, believe it or not I found it in the trash of my apartment complex 2 years ago works perfectly!!!

'cause they're so cool. i admit, i don't use mine often, and most of the time i just have the fliqlo clock screen saver on or i stream movies and music from it, but i love owning it.

@gouvernor: It would look cool if you had two Apple LED Displays. You could also tidy up a bit under your desk p) and improve the wiring.

Wait, I thought HP stopped making computers in the name of Compaq. Why does that Mini have Compaq written on it?

I'm a little late to the party, but here's the real answer.

When HP bought Compaq, they found that they could sell twice the amount of stuff by keeping two brand names. If everything became HP or Compaq, some retailers would have slashed their shelfspace in half. By keeping HP and Compaq as brands in the consumer space, they kept all that shelf space.

In the corporate side, they just merged it. HP Proliant instead of HP Netserver and Compaq Proliant...

Corporate America is a wild place sometimes.

+1. That setup FTW.

Hackintosh update: worked some on cable management. Oh joy. It runs OS X 90% of the time. Spend until about 2AM this morning getting the damn video card to work in WINDOWS! It took 5 minutes for OS X!

When you press the power button, pretty ****ing loud. Then it quiets down some. Not silent by any means, but I have loud-ish fans so I don't hear it.

Anyone have any suggestions for cable management? This sucks.

Here is my current set up with a few subtle changes.Still PPC based G5 & G4. I have waited for so many mac pro updates i think i will wait until 2020 and the G8 introduction lol. The close up shows the card reader i found here on this thread or the previous, plus my elagto turbo & space navigator.
