What's the screensaver you have on on your MBP? Or is that an iTunes visualizer?
Its an Atech Pro Gear G5 reader. Can be found on ebay for 30 or can order directly for 40 if I recall.
I bought one and it looks good next to the mac pro. Heavy thing too. Only downside is it doesn't have a usb hub built in. If it had a usb hub and an ipod dock, it would be perfect.

I actually contacted the maker about making one that doesn't rotate, and he is planning on making one in the future.

How do you light up the back?
Here is my current setup. I would certainly take any suggestions for rearrangement. I took a quick shot with my camera. I have a 2.26 Octad Mac Pro and 2.5 Macbook Pro on the desk. 24" LED ACD and T240 Samsung display as well as a new Galant desk from Ikea after a lot of Macrumors browsing.

Thanks. It took forever to finally get everything the way I wanted it.
The light is just a small florescent that I mounted on the wall and I
have a foot switch hooked up to turn it on.

imac, and macbook
Is that an old laserjet printer? From back when it was new technology
I would much favor a 24" iMac for all my intensive stuff, AND a 2.4 Unibody macbook for portability instead of my MBP. iMac is definitely in my future though, probably my next computer purchase

i think we may have killed the site. or i'm just not having any luck getting to it.

Thought I'd update my setup pics.
I'm currently between setups as I'm moving my office. I'm still working on the new one so for the time being I've got the new desk in the old office.
The plan for the new office is for their to be no cables on show at all if I can help it, you can see from the behind shot of the cable basket behind the desk.
The laptop is the 2.4ghz macbook, the screen is a 20in acd on a humanscale vesa mount. The thing on the left of the desk is my bt phone, and the iphone is a 3g one.
Tucked under the desk is all the power bricks etc along with a freecom 500gb xss drive which is very small and quiet.
