hey could you tell me some information on that monitor? it looks to me like an LCD TV, like the ones ive been looking at. i was worried about some of the LCD TVs giving poor picture for typing and reading.

I have an LCD TV (the one from Dell, the 19" widescreen) and I use it as an external monitor as well (via DVI). However, although the color is definitely decent (and it is brighter than my MacBook Pro's screen), its resolution is pretty terrible; 1280 x 768. Plus, the text is no where near as clean and crisp as it is on my MacBook Pro.

Thus, I recommend against getting an LCD TV screen and using it as an external monitor; I recently purchased the ViewSonic VX2025wm, and you can search for it in this forum (others liked this monitor). The Dell LCD TV I purchased is 19", but cost more than that 26" LCD TV you're looking at, so I'd have to recommend against using it as a second monitor...:eek:

I love my macs, i moved from PC couple months ago :)
Got my new office setup too

and because 1 one PowerMac is never enough....

Do you use them to stay warm or for whatever it is that we do with our Macs?
 
lol :p i use 1 for video streaming and the rest for final cut. and believe me, in winter time, it does help :p especially here in texas where weather can be cruel :p

You should put them in series and see if you can get fire to shoot out the back of the last one in the row. :D :D

ahh yes video was my first guess, you video people have all the coolest toys, not that us graphics people don't have some fun toys, we just can't justify as many.
