Yeah, this seems like it could be a pretty good application when it's fixed up. I just downloaded it and I'm giving it a quick run -- seems pretty good.

DAMMIT I NEED A LAPTOP

*smacks my iMac*

oops.

anyways, here's my room/setup:

only one mac in the picture. there's an ipod nano sitting in an ipod mini dock hiding behind the little TV. it's hooked up to the two computer speakers flanking the TV. i just use the TV to play PS2 once in a while. chinese television programming sucks, even the foreign channels, but it was rather cheap for an LCD TV. only about 230 bucks or so. god bless china.

Awesome Crib! What do you do for a living?

My quick and dirty setup. I didn't care much to really put time in the photos. I am just happy I finally got 10 minutes to dust!
I like to collect teddy bears as you can see.

This much fun should be illegal, for a 14 year old (processing raw).

/sarcasm
If you can process raw photo and understand it, you are well on your way towards a successful future. Raw photo is one of the most facinating parts of digital computing (to me at least) - being able to take a photo in a form where you can alter almost every since aspect of its shape to form it into what you need. I just love it.

I need a laptop too...MacBook Pro would work nice enough, but alas, no money.

Also, "About a Boy" huh? Awesome movie!

I hope you know that you are my hero :D . How do you keep that room so immaculate? My desk is a mess, the only thing I can clearly see is my mouse and keyboard.

You my friend, have an awesome setup.

Well I can confirm that a PB will push a 30" - weird seeing a little thing like that driving a big display, really.

geez iGary, are you trying to make me hate you even more? But why didnt you get a MacBook Pro? Oh wait, thats because you hate intel, right. Well, that and the fact that all the apps that you need are only PPC.

Oh, and is that an iPod Nano that I see? When did you get that?

I just couldn't believe that litle thing can actually do it, that's all.

I got the nano when they introduced the 1GB - it's my gym tunes. :D

Can't wait to see the MBP on that desk of yours I like so much.

I can't imagine having one of those 30" beasts in my house... mmm. Every time I use one at an Apple store I feel like a three year old.

Definetely getting an external display and keyboard/mm soon to use with my PB though.

Y..y....y....ou don't understand. It makes me so angry, how much ram it steals. :p
I need an upgrade badly. 512MB is nothing. =[
As for the photo aspect, it is amazing, like.... My friends mom cannon rebel xt is great and i take photo's with that when she isn't using it. Like wow. Lightroom is kinda buggy though.

Very nice, Love the 30", is this the one with the dead pixel I have read so much about?

I used to have those over priced stick speakers, and was not very impressed with the sound range. I now have a $90 per of Bose which are far better, with better sound range. Next time you are in the market for great speakers check out Bose, I swear they will impress you. (This by the way is my third set, had others with PC years ago).

whenever i go to an apple store and play with a 30 inch display, i suffer from agoraphobia! i cant possibly fill all the space!!!!!!!

Arrrrggggghhhh!!!

nice setup iGary, as usual!:D
