No, they are pretty similar. The MacBook looks less bright in that picture because of the shadow from the wall.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing cause I have seen the MB in person... I was like whoa, is the iMac really that bright?

often i think that my macbook is way brighter than my imac...its honestly very hard to tell the difference

Dude That 24" looks HUGE! I thought it was a 30 at first. Nice setup! I like it... How does Xbox 360 play on it? Is the quality good? Once my brothers move out the Xbox is going to go in my room and I will probably get a 20" one of those.

it's ginormous! but it looks even bigger sat next to the tiny 17" iMac.
the 360 plays fantastically.

we have a projector set up downstairs, but I prefer it hooked up here for the high def and the quality.

I've had my 17" iMac for about a week now and all I can think about is getting a 2nd display that would replace the tv and the crappy crt monitor I've got it hooked up to right now. I still don't think I'll be getting a dell, but my god you make a good argument for one.

Got an ACD and a Core Duo Mac Mini, but the Mini's fans start blowful speed, and the AirPort stop working. I'm taking it back tomorrow, and i plan to just ask for a new one.

How ever the ACD is so nice!

I got it new for £420.
I can get the ACD on edu for about £440
and the Dell is HD unline the 20" ACD

although I do adore the ACD's look.

I ended up with this one and am amazed in every way. no regrets.

Actually the 2407FPW has finally been released in the USA. $949 before any special deals. Now i'm thinking about it again. Wonder if the first batch will have the same problems as the 2007FPW.

sorry, I meant, I was thinking about waiting for it when I bought my monitor (May)
The 2407 looks amazing, but has been plagued with the banding issues.

lol.
no secret.
the drives are on the shelf under the iMac, I simple run one USB cable from my iMac down the back of my desk and under to the shelf, this is connected to a USB hub and all the cables run from that, out of sight behind the desk.

of course then I come to use firewire cables and it looks a little less clean.

Here's mine.

Basic 1.42GHz Mini. I just picked up the Dell 2405 last week, the thing is awesome, no regrets. I still need some speakers, docks and a bigger HDD but it's close to being done.

Hey Arc, how did you hook the xbox 360 up to your dell LCD? I have a 20'' dell monitor, and I have not found the right cables to hook my PS2 up to mine.

I think it's S-Video, but I'm not sure. I suppose you tried to use the three-way colored cable thing that came with the PS2?

Its a nice set up, but i'm sick of the iMac look, perhaps it because i have a G5 in my room for to long, but i don't find it a nice looking as i once did. I do like the ACD much more
