Nice... i didnt even see the powerbook the first time.Graeme A said:At last I have decided to post a pic of my setup. This is the old version (when life was simpler) as the 'new' is not good... I have bits of kit all over the study now getting ready for some eBaying.
Old Mac Setup
I am pleased to say that the PC laptop has now been given away to some sucker... oops donated to charity.
The new 'new' version will hopefully include a new display so I can retire the old style cinema display.

Graeme A said:In the spirit of a past and present macs, I decided to post the following pic of the macs we use from the first (switch) machine to the last. I am not going to include the now broken PC which is sitting in the corner waiting until the garbage collection on Monday.
Ganymede is a Rev A 17" PB which was the reason I switched to the mac. I had a case of the "I gotta get me some o' that" syndrome so inherent when you become a Mac user. It has taken a bad fall to the left corner which has damaged its lustre but not its wow factor.
Leda is my wife's 1Ghz 12" PB that we got her to learn how to use computers with... so far Mahjohngg is the top application used, alongside Dashboard's world clocks and temperature.
The laptops just float around the lounge so we can check emails and surf while watching TV or keeping watch on the baby thanks to an Airport Extreme hiding behind the monitor.
Jupiter was my Christmas present to myself which I bought on the way back to Australia when I stopped off in Santa Monica. I dumped the 1 button mouse for the PM as I came across a good deal on the MX1000 and I have to say it is a cool mouse.
Since we bought so many macs, we had to come up with a naming theme to handle them on the network... "Jennie's 12" G4 PowerBook" and "Graeme's 17" G4 PowerBook" was not the way to go...
Do any other members use a "theme" to name their machines? Any other examples please?

Graeme A said:And I call the PC in the corner "The POS", not so cool... before it broke, it was called asteroid as it kept crashing.
My Powerbook is "Mario" and my iPod is "Luigi." My PC is "Bowser" and the SSID on my router/WAP is "Mushroom Kingdom."Graeme A said:Do any other members use a "theme" to name their machines? Any other examples please?
