Looks like an interesting political movie you got there in the works. What's it about?

haha. Actually thats part of my demo reel. I wanted to have something interesting up on the screen. It is Bill Clinton on the right, and Willy Brown (Former SF Mayor) on the left. Oh, and Salma and Penelope are not part of that reel. I wish!....

You're 13 years old and you have a G5? (Begins to cry) Even though, your setup rocks!! What model G5 do you have? I have been thinking about a G5 lately, but I'm to attached to my eMac. Plus, I want a iPod Mini and more Memory anyway.

i do have to say, be that the truth, i'm one exceptionally jealous college student!

You and me both!!! :) Even though, as I've said I'm very attached to my eMac!! My very first Mac. Plus, it was cheap and its fast. I need an internet connection on it though!! I'm forced to use my HP Laptop for internet access (even though it's not THAT bad).

Dear Santa, the Tooth Fairy, BoogeyMan, Easter Bunny; please help me get a PowerMac G5 or an iMac G5, common its my birthday today (seriously though it is May 24).

Oh well working hard for it will just be as rewarding. I'm peeved at those whom have an old 733Mhz G4 PowerMac and wanna charge $800Can used for it - you cant even run GarageBand at full throttle with it.
Not too much longer before I post my setup.

BishopDuke; notice your HS850+Verizon Moto V710 & PSP. Man you got way too much money on your hands, send some over my way I'll help ya spend it! hehe.

Common people I want to see more unique desktops.

Damn, that will suck if i ever make it up there. :( ... why is the premium so high?

In the States you can get a eMac 1GHz (refurb) for $599 and an iMac G5 1.6GHz (refurb) for $899!

*I'm moving on June 1st so i'll post the new mac setup when i get all moved in. :)

The sad thing is that I was 13 in '99. I was using a computer that was 9 years old at the time.

My first computer that was actually mine was a Compaq Presario 5340; 400Mhz AMD K6/2, 92 or 96MB RAM (I can't remember exactly), 4.0GB HD (upgraded to 30GB HD), 24X (I think) CDROM, later upgraded to an 8x4x32 HP CD Writer. I can't remember the rest of the specs. Oh yeah, it had Windows 98 SE and it was a POS.

The first computer my family acutally owned (and still does) is a Compaq Presario 5000t. Intel Pentium III 733MHz, 128MB RAM, 20GB HD, CD-ROM, CD-RW, 17" CRT, Windows 98 SE. It used be nice, back in 2000. But now it constanly crashes and my mom doesn't want to get a Mac so it looks like we might get a Dell in the near future. At least it will better than what we have now.

Did I mention that I am still forced to use the machine since my eMac doesn't have an internet connection? My parents are stubborn and won't let my get internet in my room. I hate this computer!!

Its because our $CAN has been falling to around 70cents US. That and most people in Canada that have an old Mac want to upgrade & try to get the top most dollar for it. Doesnt help that the many authorized retailers hardly give fair price for trade-ins and match equal pricing for used machines. Win for the seller (pre owners too) & loose for the buyer. This is in Toronto, and even eBay doesnt help.

No worries makes it better for me to save a little more for a brand new machine & helps Apple make those sales.

bishopduke, thanks. Had a peaceful day and kids were good to me.

Neut, where on earth do you live, want to find those links to that kind of pricing. And yes waiting to see your setup once you moved & christened the house ;)

Well my birthdays on the 20th and Christmas is on the 25th. And I hadn't really asked for any money for a really long time for my report card. I do some pretty cool stuff on my standard. After Effects and Photoshop rock! Don't think I am some little fat boy that gets evrything from his parents. And I don't sit inside all day. I am very greatful

P.S. My spelling stinks.
P.P.S. I have a friend at school whos my age and has a:
Powermac G4(2 gigs of ram with a 16x DL dvd burner)
3 Imacs that were all G3's and are now G4 withover a gig of ram each and dvd burners)
A couple performas
Ans a PowerBoook G3(Now a G4)
