did you notice the wireless MICROSOFT keyboard and mouse? will i be lynched for having that?

I think most here would acknowledge Microsoft makes great mice and keyboards. Apple makes stylish hardware, but sadly it's highly un-ergonomic. Need I go any further than the original iMac hockey puck mouse to prove my point?

Even today, I find the pro keyboard to be too spongey and uncomfortable to use long term (I'm waiting on the new Matias tactile pro). And the mighty mouse looks good but doesn't fit the hand the way a good Microsoft or Logitech mouse does.

You can get a 22" Acer for only $260, less than that MAG at Best Buy, and I trust Acer a lot more than MAG (had experience with both brands). In fact, my friend bought that Acer monitor a couple months ago and loves it.

yeah i saw that one too, the reason i opted for hte MAG was becuase fo the 1400:1 ratio compared to the 700:1, that was the selling point. And after shipping etc. you might have saved 20$.

My new MacBook Pro. My Vista desktop can be seen on the 20" Samsung monitor in the background. That screen will soon serve double-duty running the MacBook Pro as well :)

You can see the size difference between my X60 and MBP in this shot haha.

actually the "puck" mouse was design was highly ergonomic, it reduces joint stress by re-locating the movement from the hand to the wrist

What

When those damn puck mice were common on Macs I found myself moving my fingers more than ever, and my hand would hurt after extended use. I move my wrist more with normal mice -- the hand stays more or less in place on a regular mouse, not stressing the fingers and other muscles inside the hand itself.

The puck mouse was decidedly not ergonomic.

how are you able to get the stattoo capsules up on the top of the screen? I can only move mine to the left / center / right on the bottom

Its not mine but my friend wanted to see what other people thought of his new setup. No Mac yet but I am working on him. He will eventually come to see the light!

So...in "Post Your Mac Setup", you have posted that which is not only not a Mac, but not even yours? :D

I'm just givin' you crap :) It is a pretty nice looking setup. Tell him we said so. Also tell him it would look a million times better with a Mac Pro. Or at least an iMac.
