And I still wouldn't change it. Probably get an iPhone when the battery finally dies.

Rocketing through the sky!
apple-iphone.jpg

Jailbroken 16GB 3G, so I can use my Rogers iPhone on Fido here in Canadia. Got it contract free for $250 after my boss water damaged his old one and gave it to me, then repaired/swapped at Apple store.

I'm bored of it. Of course, two months after I bail from Telus THEY get the HTC Hero which I REALLLLY want, chin and all. But I am dataless with the iphone so contract would suck anyway.

*sigh* anyone wanna trade?

+2 so did I!. Sold my 32Gb 3GS for it and other than it not syncing with ical I haven't looked back!:D

Keep an eye out for the Sony Ericsson X10 running Android 1.6 Donut (upgradeable soon after for Android 2.0+). Its spec's are VERY comparable to the HTC HD2 and eloquent design like the 3GS, no hardware keyboard though.

Loving it. Especially tethered to the Macbook and my netbook. Edge speeds were killing me.

Sold my iPhone to a blond gal that was missing hers (stolen) and waited, pleaded, reached out to 10 ppl, and FINALLY got a Bold 9700 (3G Bands 1,2,5,6) on Telus. Bought it BNIB $500 CAN, no contract just Pay&Talk.

Will get another when I transfer my line over to Telus Mobility before end of month :D

This is by FAR the BEST mobile smartphone I've used in a year; iPhone 3GS was a kneck-&-kneck second ... will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, but for my new job i HAD to get the Bold as I will once again be troubleshooting BB's and soon to get cert for BES Admin.

Selling the 3GS was NOT easy ... actually it the ONLY time I sold ANY phone of mine because I HAD to (no formal training on OS v5; prior yes, but OS 5 has significant changes)! I've owned cellphones for 12yrs now ... I hope the 9700 lives up to its initial joy over the long hall.

Doesn't matter how much advertising Apple does on our TV, I'm not sold on their mobile phone product; still lacking in actual features, no high resolution camera, no flash or light, no removable memory, funny bluetooth.. and... the thing needs activation! WTF! o_O

I'm fairly happy with my E71, though I'm thinking of switching to a Blackberry, just because I'm due a FREE upgrade :)

How is the trackpad? I'm thinking of switching to this when my contract is eligible.

TrackPad is awesome! Much better than any trackball. If you've used the TrackBall with 70/70 Horizontal/Vertical sensitivity, then you'll need TrackPad with 50/50; its more sensitive and also direct! Takes about 2days getting used to it but App Menu is just so lightening fast!

Where you'll notice the joy of using it is in those HUGE text menus, like Setup Wizard where you always had to scroll to the bottom to accept the agreement. No more with TrackPad, swipe right and click, done!

Oh and the themes that is capable on OS 5 will impress! Cannot wait to see this browser improved with Flash & based on Webkit this summer, for now its faster.

Its for some hacking around, tweaking...for 200 I couldn't pass it up(even with WM 6.1)

So far, I'm really impressed. Palm(well really HTC) did a great job with the phone. I'm eagerly waiting for WebOS device to hit AT&T.
