Please, tell me why you change your HTC to iPhone?

I didnt like the whole fragmentation problem, the phone is about 6 months old, yet still being sold now, and theres apps that wont run on it already like Google Goggles.

So it feels like a discontinued phone already, the actual phone and OS was nice, but not quite as polished as the iPhone.

I know it will likely get OS 2.1 but, what about when 2.X comes out in a few months, the phone will be back in the same position.

Its a mess and until Google/HTC and others sort it out, I will leave Android well alone. As imagine how useless it will be in 2 years.

Well before I just posted a stock photo and sometimes people actually enjoy seeing a phone in real life. Here are 3 pictures of my Droid. I have a clear case on it that I got from Verizon.

and paid full price for like most of them as theres only like 3 periods of which you were upgrade eligible

All were bought full price except maybe 5, which were upgrades or from the service provider themselves. Most are import phones which usually run $500+, mostly $750+.

Most I bought in 1 day were:
Samsung D900
Sony Ericsson P1i
Nokia 8800 Sirocco black
Samsung P310

Least used was:
Nextel Blackberry 1 hour - Pulled the antenna out, and it broke
Nokia N96 - 5 minutes I opened the box then closed it

The rest I used quite a bit, and none were lost/stolen and 2-3 broke.

? im confused. I have the HTC one. Not the one with the full keyboard (motorolla). I havent noticed any clear case on it

I have the clear case on my Motorola Droid as you can see in the pictures and it fits well. It does decrease space on the top row of the keyboard, but I still can type on it. It may cause issues for some people though especially if they have larger fingers.

aw man I've been a Nokia man for the longest time....

I went to the Philippines for 4 years for College and had the opportunity to use some amazing Nokia's
NOKIA-5190-B.JPG

This is where I mastered Snake and texting at amazing speeds!

20070928Nokia_3210a.jpg

Texting on this badboy was amazing! Probably one of my favorite phones next to my iPhone.

Then I came back to Canada in 2001 and found out how far back North America was with GSM
Mitsubishi-T300.jpg

Ahh my Mitsubishi T300... interchangable face plates!

Panasonic_GD92.gif

Copped this baby because it was so thin and gadget like.. different screen colours and all. Had this about a week and lost it running for the bus :/

nokia-8260.jpg

Went back with a Nokia and was still frustrated because of the lack of GSM

duzy-nokia-3600-21.jpg

Then my first Smart phone. This Nokia was ahead of its time... waay ahead! 3 of my friends had this and used it to its full potential. From our discovery of bluetooth, to saving MP3 files, to recording video. This badboy provided some help in documenting an epic vacation in Cancun in 2003! I used to listen to my MP3s via a single ear bluetooth earpiece. People used to ask me, WTF is that in your ear? Thats some Star Trek ish!

nokia_6600.jpg

Ran this baby to the ground! The only drawback was that it was a little bulky just like the 3600.

sony-ericsson-w550-combo.jpg

It was loud... it doubled as an MP3 player and Worms was fun to play. This broke in less than a year. The worst phone to keep in your pocket!

nokia_5310_press.jpg

I held back on buying an iPod and stayed with the whole phone/MP3 player. This phone appealed so much more because it was small and thin and fit nice in my jeans especially when my jeans started to get a lot more 'slim/skinny'.

_3g-iphone-photo1.png

The greatest upgrade ever!... Because of the iphone I have a MBP and am running an Airport Express.

Still using the 8GB 2G iPhone unlocked (they never had them here in Canada). I could not use the thing in public back in September 2007 - June 2008 without someone asking me about it or staring at me. I was happy when Canada finally got the 3G in 08 and everyone could gawk at their own iPhone.

This is one of the major reasons i ditched my brown Hero and have shelved Android in general.
