He doesn't. He's just feeding off the rumor mill and a creative artist who's created a mockup.

ok *phew* that mock up looks Damn ugly to be honest.

That charger on that Pre is friggin sweet! How you diggin that phone?

Ya the Palm Pre does seem like a sweet phone. Its really too bad that Palm is doing awful financially right now.

I'm considering buying either an unlocked Palm Pre or unlocked Blackberry 8900 because I currently HATE my new Nokia phone which replaced my old Blackberry curve. (Awful mistake)

Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. On paper, it sounds like an amazing phone (Video calling, 2 cameras (3.2MP), 640x360 screen, Turn-by-turn unlimited GPS license, Touch screen, 3G, 8GB, OVI app store), and it would be too if Nokia just changed a few things.

The problem is it is PAINFULLY slow. It multitasks, and so that means every time I quit a program I also have to manually exit out of the program, otherwise it will slow down the phone alot. My main issue though with the phone is the touch screen. It is horribly unresponsive and this makes the keyboard very hard to type with.

So, heres what I have now:

And this is probably what I will have soon:

What are you thinking about if you go the unlocked Pre route? I was looking into one and Expansys-USA imports them for a little over $700. A little pricey IMO, even for an unlocked phone. I got my N900 - practically the same hardware (with extras like IR and FM) for $550 on Amazon.

I am thinking I'm just going to get it off of ebay. If you know what you are looking for, you can get some good deals on ebay.

If that doesn't work, I'll probably just get it here:

But anyways, I am leaning a little more towards a Blackberry instead.

God damn these are amazing phones! I have one and it is one of the fastest and most reliable WinMo phones that I have ever had! I even have it updated to WM6.5 and it is faster than my current phone that runs WM6.1.

I currently use an i-mate Ultimate 9502, its ok. Horrible keyboard lag though :S

This phone is perfect for me, it is small so it just slips in my pocket. Great for school ;)
