My Blackberry 8830

Haha. Yeah, I need to remove it but I'm afraid I will scratch the screen... Time for me to stop being OCD I suppose.

Nah you just need a proper screen protector. search around for varying opinions on blackberryforums.com. btw, scratched unit or chipped looks much worse than the screen.

Any consolation I never used a protector for 4mths on my Pearl and carried it in my front pocket!

Just got my new LG KG800. I'm having some problems with my network, I hope I can keep the phone because I love the damn thing.

Just got Verizon's Samsung SCH-u740.

I wish I had cooler choices but Verizon decides to cripple their clients with their phones. This one is surprisingly good compared to most of Verizon's phones. Texting never got so easy

EdesignUK & Coops > bastards getting me to think about a Black W880i.

how do you both find the reception in sublevel garages or multilevel parking lots, or in elevators with mirrors surrounding all walls.

uhhhm, i have better signal in underground passages etc than any of my friends at the time, and i receive signal in places that my previous phone, a nokia 6111, wouldn't dream of getting signal.

and go for silver, it's much better looking compared to the oranged backed black model, it looks rather vulgar!

WillJS is on Verizon; as the photo with the flip open shows their SWOOSH.

Always hated Motorola, but I've been proven wrong before. Their OS is not the prettiest, but it's definitely stable and very very hackable. Loving the ability to customize this phone to the max. :)

OK so you're phone above is Synergy, but I'm learning a bit more about the JUIX platform.

This Moto has got my interest since its more value for the money than the SE W580i currently. Considering the Moto Duo Z6; only considering. As for now I trying to secure payment for an imported Orange BB 8820 (WiFi & UMA support)

Well, I'm in the UK, so technically this isn't my phone until I get an unlock lol

Motorola S9 (model comes in various colors all Black, Lime Green & Black bundled with Europe release of the UIQ3.1 Smarphone Z8, or Orange & BLack with the orange Z6 Duo above).

A2DP Stereo Bluetooth (same charger as the Razr's mini USB port which is convenient).
Audio/Video remote control support as well so using with your Mac's BT while playing QuickTime should also work.

I'm may just pass on the Z6 duo ... unless the wife makes me buy it.
I need the PIM abilities of a smartphone.

Just sent to me by O2 as an upgrade option, not sure if im keeping it though. I still prefer the ease of navigation on my Palm and not needing to use a stylus but this is packed with features. Only thing missing is GPS/HSDPA.

Still deciding on this or the iPhone. Strangely this matches the new iMacs well.

VERY COOL! I understand that no HSDPA can be a pain, UMTS is there so it shouldn't be too significant unless you were planning for tethering. I say wait for K850i. Or better yet wait for W960i for touchscreen with fingers like iPhone.

whatever suits your needs.

I just have a Sony Ericsson W810i its doing for 6 months old not any scratches on yet, and my contract ends in december soo a new phone then yay!!!

Hmm those look like amazing phones but the seem more multimedia centric and offer no room for 3rd party software like the P1 does. If im gonna go with multimedia then i might as well go with the best experience which is from the iPhone.

So the question then becomes busienss centric with some multimedia or multimedia centric with some business. Obviously the p1 offers more flexibility and fills the gaps in the iPhone (3G, MMS, Copy and Paste, more camera options etc) BUT the user experience of the iphone...so tempting.

Might just stick with the p1 for then next 11 months and get iPhone 2.

Decisions decisions...

The SE W960 is based on the same OS as the SE p1i.
Just uses:
* numerical keypad, not qwerty.
* 8GB HDD
* 160MB RAM - for running apps
* WiFi 802.11b just like the P1
* Finger touch-screen like the iPhone / STylus navigation/input.

Best of both worlds.
