Ok, these aren't my phones, but I do have to go through 40+ of them and convert the MEID to an ESN and then get lock codes for each of them.
Do you work for a mobile phone company?
It seems that Google and Yahoo have some special tie-in to BIS that allows for instant delivery. It's amazing.Sweet ... I've been troubleshooting BES for the past 1.3yrs without my own 8100 - more on that later. BIS was fast for Pop3 emails but I'm hearing its now becoming instant. Great news.
Maybe... Haha. Although that is insane for the prices of it. Thankfully the "unlimited" plan doesn't have overage charges, but if you have the 10MB plan or pay as you go, it's $15.36/MB. Damn...You got to rub it in, don't you. Prior to 4mths ago it was $100/mth = 1GB and it was "soft capped". Rogers version of "unlimited data" if you went over you wouldn't get a call, nor even an sms to inform you, you'd just be billed incredible overages ($3/MB). Now its $65/mth = 1GB, and it throttles upwards in increments, $75/mth = 2GB, etc if you go above your oringinal 1GB. Its getting better, but way WAY too slow. February 8TH regular cellphones will allow on the phone itself (no BT/USB tethering) of True unlimited surfing - using the phones browser for $7/mth! But I highly doubt Blackberry's will be included. I pray but I don't think our Wireless Deity is listening

Remember, the 8130 is OS 4.3. I can't wait until 4.5 is released. Hopefully it will be available to upgrade on previous handsets. If it doesn't I'll be mad. The Verizon OS is a little buggy, so I'm hoping that they'll either release a 4.3 update or go straight to 4.5. Wish that GPS wasn't disabled as well. But I still love it.DUDE! You've just made my month! I'm GLAD to see that OS 4.2 allows for this! You are correct that the 8100 didn't allow this, hence why I used it for only 3-4mths and sold it.
I already got rid of my unlocked AT&T Motorola Q9h .... back to my SE K790a. I'm considering the K850i for night on the town usuage ... but with OS 4.5 coming for BB's with HTML (limited of course) Email support .... the 8120/8320 just might get my hard earned cash!

Dude you don't have to wait for VERIZON! .... check your full firmware in the about screen. Then pay Blackberryforums.com a visit ... check for the latest firmware threads in the 8100 Forums, specific to your 8130 and I'm sure there you'll find the updated firmware with less issues - RIM is incredible for quick releases and bug fixes! Download it first. Do a BACKUP of your data ... maybe even a FULL backup! Also there is an IMPORTANT Sticky regarding how to update firmware (removal of 2 files on your desktop - .alx files - & how to edit so that certain provider themes can be enabled). Lastly, after the firmware update take 20 minutes to quick open standard apps, switch core themes then back again. HRT, and also resend those service books from Verizon BIS site, just in case, THEN do your restore of your core data (calendar, memo pad, address book, tasks, 3rd party apps - their databases, Bookmarks, other settings etc.
Hope this helps ... I'll see if I can find the specific threads.

Here is a Samsung i320.
I used to say that I have never gone wrong buying anything from Samsung... this was my first. All that thanks to Microsoft Windows Mobile v5 that makes this phone a mess to use.![]()
