I won't disrespect anyone who pays for their own stuff and works hard for it and everything, but unless you have some sort of business, you don't really need a smartphone, do you? It's more like a luxury, I'd say.
Yeah, it is indeed a luxury.
I would say anything but the free phones are a luxury.
But I had a smart phone for about a year and I got so used to the fuction of it, that it really spoiled me. I was able to stay MAJORLY organized, and I could run NES roms on it, which was cool too. I had a whole vintage arcade on my phone. Also, having the scroll wheel on the side is something that I miss.
Then I switched over to Verizon, and I didn't want my mother to have to pay for the outrageous data charges for Verizon. So now I have the LG Chocolate 2.
I'm so not impressed with it. The calendar sucks, everything about it is pretty much awful. It's really hard to keep organized.
Contract is up in April. I might just a blackberry at that point.
I'll have a job by then and will be able to pay for the data charges, not that my mom couldn't afford it.
I'm 15 by the way, and yes, I don't need a smart phone.. But it's REALLY nice to have if you use it's functionality.
