Since it's the only sim-free phone I've had. And incredibly tough. Part of my fear of getting an iPhone or any posh phone is that it'd be damaged from an adventure.

And a plain ol Razr.

Best phone I ever had, great Battery life, mp3 ringtones, et al. I did a seem edit to enable other features so technically it's a v3m without a card slot... the case still reads v3c however.

I love it.

Yeah, Motorolas are good phones for modding, very easy and lots of stuff you can mess with on them! :)

8Gb 1st. gen iPhone, Motorola ic902.
hey, why are my pics backwards????:confused::confused:

Assuming you took that picture with the iSight, it mirrors you pictures. I'm not infront of my Mac right now, but there is a preference to change that.

I did, Pm. me if you get a chance, and let me know how, if you would be so kind. Or just post it up here incase I'm not the only one who can't figure it out.

My phone > Yours :D (IMO)
It is over a year and half old, so it's kind of time for a replacing… but I haven't found a replacement that's comparable without half a zillion people owning one. AKA iPhone 3G is almost as good, but too many people have one.

Now THAT is a sweet Communicator! You're not going to find a replacement unless you can deal with a smaller screen, No TV Out, no 30fps Video recording @ VGA res and go for the E71-2NAM. Or you can get a stowaway keyboard (BT) and get the N95-3 and use it with that when you NEED it.

Wait for a slimmer version end of 2009.

LOL the Ghetto BlackBerry ... TMobile reps back in tha day - tier2 including myself back then - knicknamed it that. lol we'd get calls saying "You have to get all my contacts & emails on this new device and fast, I have a pending/serious 'business' deal to take care off".

I even had one call where buddy locked his SKII (2004) in his car with the keys. He literary broke the window to get it so I could get the IMEI off of him into the Danger Tool to switch the ID over from his SKColor. Yes I heard him run down the street while on a cellphone (not the SKColor) and pick up a rock and then ... SMASH! Their fun devices but Danger didn't push enough quick enough to get the devices to evolve: ie where is the WiFi?~!

I also have the Motorola ic902...

I really want an iPhone but I really need the Nextel push to talk for work... :(

On a side note, anybody seen the new verizon comercial making fun of the nextel guy saying that everybody switched to the verizon push to talk network so his old network was obsolete? So, I take it that the two can't communicate? I really hate sprint but they got me because of the nextel merge...

Verizon?? :p

Jeff Dunham.

Yeah, so what exactly happened to you?

Eh?

What happened?

Oh, if you must know, I am a horrible suicide bomber...

What happened?

I had a premature detonation. I set the timer for 30 minutes, but it went off in 4 seconds! You know what that's like, right?! Mr hurricane!

So, Achmed what exactly happened to you?

Well, I was getting gasoline and I answered my cell phone... "Can you hear me now?" Kghghgh! At first I thought it was because I went over my minutes!

That's too bad!

It's ok, I took that Verizon bastard with me!

I had a blackberry before the lx and I'm more satisfied with the lx than I could ever be with the blackberry. Mainly because of the cheaper data plan. The phone itself is really nice though, still waiting for my text from Danger to upgrade the firmware though.

Cheaper Data Plan I cannot argue with you on that ... save the fact that us in Canada on Fido paid the SAME $20/mth when we had it some 4yrs ago when our dollar was 87cents US. Gotta feel ripped off now.

Are you still limited to EDGE & 3 other email accounts on that? Along with only 1 IM client per IM server (1 client for AIM, another for MSN, etc etc)? When you delete emails can you purge them wirelessly out of the deleted items on AOL/Hotmail/Yahoo email?

Ppl choose different feature sets for their uses. BB's are great and very powerful, but I'd rather have an E-Series S60 phone. the OS offers just too much more for what I want. The SK is a great platform ... I just HOPE MS does put WM on it or they push Danger Inc to really push J2ME to the limits and open up their developer base without forcing dev's to null warranty on devices their coding for and allow for apps to be uploaded directly to the Catalog/Shopping Mall. Just as long as its tested to work well with varying models.

I won't disrespect anyone who pays for their own stuff and works hard for it and everything, but unless you have some sort of business, you don't really need a smartphone, do you? It's more like a luxury, I'd say.

Yeah, it is indeed a luxury.
I would say anything but the free phones are a luxury.

But I had a smart phone for about a year and I got so used to the fuction of it, that it really spoiled me. I was able to stay MAJORLY organized, and I could run NES roms on it, which was cool too. I had a whole vintage arcade on my phone. Also, having the scroll wheel on the side is something that I miss.
Then I switched over to Verizon, and I didn't want my mother to have to pay for the outrageous data charges for Verizon. So now I have the LG Chocolate 2.
I'm so not impressed with it. The calendar sucks, everything about it is pretty much awful. It's really hard to keep organized.

Contract is up in April. I might just a blackberry at that point.
I'll have a job by then and will be able to pay for the data charges, not that my mom couldn't afford it.

I'm 15 by the way, and yes, I don't need a smart phone.. But it's REALLY nice to have if you use it's functionality.
