FCP.

two streams
stream 1: DV camcorder, 25fps, 44.1KHz
stream 2. MBP using QT on "RAW" @ 44.1KHz

audio recorded in QT with stream2.

listened to mp3 version of the song.

on both streams the audio of the actual song will go out of sync with the drums. i have no idea why. i have to change the length of the recording using Audacity (doesnt always work though) but there HAS to be an easier way!!

any ideas?
heck i dunno.
ive never done an audio and video together, i only do audio.
i use garage band. hook it up into my friends ____ ( where all the mic's plug into) and record each mic as a different track and its great.
ha i have fcp and ive opened it once.:D

Garageband is pretty great! I used quicktime to record it, there was only one audio stream coming in and i needed video. I know the problem i just dont know how to fix the stupid thing! Argh anyway thanks :)

My desktop will be on when i decide to get out of bed! That could take hours ;)

Want to see my Wire Monster? How about a 25 foot ethernet cable to go from the floor right there to the PowerBook? That does not even show the worst part. Zoom in on the one of the desk

how about 4 30meter ethernet cables

that reminds me of my house. my dad wanted to wire all of the bedrooms and the living room for ethernet, but got lazy and only did wiring in the attic and basement where he could easily access it. now we have ethernet cables in all the bedrooms that hang from the cielings, and one in the living room that comes out of the floor.

Oh, and sorry for the lack of mess, I have dyson and old-shipping boxes to help with that, LULUL

I repair these for a living, notice there are FEW Windauz boxes as I charge extra for the pain of working on sub-par systems.

Hopefully we'll get to that point someday, but probably not soon. We have a good deal of half-finished projects around the house. Not to mention I'm at school for most of the year, and I'm the one who usually pushes things along.

First picture is my normal setup at home. The second is what I'm temporarily stuck with at the Grandparents house (an MSI Wind and an Acer monitor). The second picture is relatively more messy than the first, not that anything gets accomplished because of that.

Luckily for me there is attic behind my bedroom as well as above. In fact every room upstairs has a wall that if you went through would would be in attic.
