Can you add some type of color to it, like a water color paint, to see what it would look like with color? If some type of marker, paint, etc. could be added, then you could see if you like it with color or not.

both arms on the underside of the bicep/triceps. one of the most painful spots to have them done. you must like pain
Honestly they weren't that bad. The worst was either the Mario tattoo on my waist/belly or the "wind" that wraps around onto my rib cages...

I didn't even see the Black reference until I went back, and then it stuck out like a sore thumb. The Kill Em All took me even longer. Almost didn't notice it.
