This is why sites like Newegg have such happy customers. They keep them informed! This is pretty important when ordering online. Premier reps don't know their ass from their elbows it seems (I'm sure they're doing the best they can, as they're not being informed from the top down) and their order tracking site is worthless at best.

If we had been informed from the get-go of this situation, I think it's safe to say we would have upgraded to next-day shipping. I know this whole fiasco is complex and all, but this is the 3rd iPhone now...they should be ****ing champions at this process by now.

I just got my shipping info (I'm Premier) and it says 2-day air from UPS not FedEx. Anyone else see this as well?

Mine still won't arrive till June 22nd. :mad:

UPS always delivers 1 business day before estimated delivery date where I live (sf bay area)... I wish I had UPS..

Yep, UPS. No delivery date is pecified, just says 2 day air.
 
Woo hoo, i just got a tracking number, i ordered the 10th June but i opted for 2nd day so i am scheduled for Monday 22nd :( I live in Houston TX, so i may see if i can pay FED EX a visit Saturday and pick it up since it's coming from Fort Worth.

We shouldn't have had to pay one damn cent to get shipping that would let the phone arrive on the 19th.

If Apple can ship phones to arrive on the 19th and AT&T can ship phones for regular (non Premier) customers to arrive at retail stores and homes on the 19th at no extra charge then there's not one damn reason that our Premier account phones shouldn't have been shipped to show up on the 19th as well, and at no extra charge.

I hate AT&T but unfortunately I'm stuck with them.
 
Honestly for me its not the fact that the iPhone isn't arriving on time, its just a phone, but the fact that I sold my iPhone and have been using a 3 year old blackberry that drops every other call.

It's not going to kill any of us to wait an extra week for a phone. The issue is that AT&T Premier account holders were treated worse than regular AT&T retail customers and Apple customers.

That's the rub.
 
I don't think Premier means anything special to att. It just means you get a discount so they know your not switching carriers anyway, might as well treat you like garbage.
 
When she came back she said there was no problem with the order, it was at the warehouse waiting to be shipped, and would ship out today or tomorrow. I asked her if she knew why I have never been able to check my status at the main AT&T site, and she had no clue what I was talking about. Since the call, I still can't check status on the consumer AT&T site, and the Premier site says the same thing it has said all along.

Guess I just need to be patient...

I'm glad to hear someone else is in the same situation as me. I can't get any status from the web site still. By phone they said it would ship friday, but I've been skeptical because of what the web site was telling me.

What did people do back in the days of mail ordering from catalogs? I need instanst access to information! :)

In my experience UPS has delivered on the scheduled day. :( I hope they deliver early, but I'm not counting on it. Just really upset with Premier right now... just like everyone else.

They had more important things to worry about in life like everyone else. :D

Anyways, I'll be happy if I get my iPhone on Monday (and not just the SIM). Unlike many folks here, I wasn't expecting AT&T to ship early enough for it to arrive on Friday. If I wanted it on Friday, I would have preordered in store instead of online. I'd rather wait a few days rather than go to one their stores and wait in line and for a sales person to process the transaction.

Amen to that and I’m also going to be peeved if they ship today and I don’t get it till next week. The damn pre-order says items will be shipped with “overnight priority.” That DOESN’T equate to two day shipping! :mad:
 
I don't get things shipped via FedEx very often, but I have noticed that when I do have an item for delivery that FedEx actually has in their possession, they have delivered on a Saturday. The big thing here is they have to have it. My guess is that if mine does ship 2 DayAir today, it won't get to sorting until Saturday morning. I guess I will have to wait thru the weekend.

I just saw this got picked up at 11.15 am, I feel 2 day would include today and tomorrow so I am still hoping that we will get our iphones by tomorrow. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
 
ordered mine on the 10th and shipped today, will be delivered tomorrow by 3 pm according to fedex :)
 
Mad at Premier!

Ok, so not only will my phone not be delivered till the 22nd, but my boyfriend just called premier CS and they told him there was a "processing error" with his order. He was switching over from T-Mobile. He ordered on the 10th and had to call TODAY to find this out? They didn't even try to contact him? Now his won't ship for 7-10 days. :mad:

So you can call and get it upgraded to next day air after you received a tracking number? If so, how much did they charge?

You mean like the threat of war, financial distress, flu epidemics, diseases, severe weather, things like that? I'm so glad we don't have to worry about that stuff anymore!! :p
