I can only assume you mean 'you' are bitter. It think it's pretty obvious from my posts that I am. I think I have a right to be - and it has nothing to do with my iPhone. My wife has a broken Verizon phone, and I was trying to avoid paying Verizon for a repair or signing up for another 2 years. I don't remember it saying anywhere that since I signed up for a family plan they would hold up HER phone because I ordered an iPhone. Not only did I make her wait until the 10th because I wanted an iPhone, but now since they can't freakin fix my order, she has to wait until my mess is straightened out. I can help but be bitter.
 
I can definitely feel everyone's pain. I'm in the same boat as everyone who ordered early and still hasn't gotten their iPhone.

I fortunately received my phone on Friday, best purchase I've ever made. To all those who are still waiting, hang in in there... it's worth it.
 
AT&T told me that the iPhone is the only phone that AT&T does not prioritize for Premiere customers...so we have to wait like everyone else.

I ordered mine last week, should get here probably in 10 days. I don't mind.

I'd be surprised if you had to wait that long. People who ordered on the 18th are already getting them. Since Apple apparently has stock, I suspect the AT&T 7-14 days is lip service. One can hope. However, being pessimistic is probably the right approach so you can only be pleasantly surprised.

That'd be good. I notice they put a hold on my card already. I really hate going to the stores and/or waiting in line (It's one of those things I've gotten tired of over the years).

My iphone is still on back order... so I went into the store and bought one on Friday. Is there a way to cancel my online order online? I call premiere service and they keep saying there is an hour wait and they then disconect me. I tried calling over they weekend but they were closed... Any ideas?
 
I bought a refub iphone 3g 16gb in late may. AT&T Premier let me upgrade to the 3G S 32 GB for just the difference. I've been pleased with my premier order - i was grateful for the chance to exchange.

No, you just have to refuse the shipment when it arrives.
 
Premier customer service members = complete jerks.

Premier customer service supervisors = reasonable people who take 3 minutes to listen and try to offer solutions and apologize if the problem is on their end.

I can clearly see that those who get promoted at AT&T are those who do a good job. Sometimes it makes sense for a company to keep people like that on the front lines, even if that means paying them a bit more. This is just another example of how AT&T doesn't quite get it. Lower end employees are the face of the company and should be trained to go above and beyond. The qualification shouldn't be that they are breathing.

Well I just had one that clearly wasn't happy to put up with me. What do they expect me to do when I hear 4 times in a row that everything is fine and it's awaiting processing, only to have it not process? Do I keep waiting the 24-48 hours forever? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that the regular phone system is down and one would call me when it comes back up. Hmmm...should I sit around waiting for a call? I'm thinking not...
 
I ordered through the Premier website on 6/18. Still says "processing"... oh well, all I can do is wait, and hope to be surprised when it comes! :apple:
 
Wait is under an hour when I called today. It seems like the online status page has not been updated since Saturday, as the rep told me it's in warehouse processing, while the online status said there is a problem (that I think was resolved on Friday).

However I think when they resubmitted the order they messed it up and now it's showing the full price for the plan, instead of discounted plan. I tried to explain that and the rep just don't understand, and transferred me to the regular support line because it's a "billing question".

The thing is, the regular support line (800-331-0500) has NO WAIT. However they cannot do premier orders. WTF???
 
My bf preordered on June 10th (new iphone as part of new family plan) and then had to have it re-entered on the 18th b/c of a processing error with the order (ATT's fault). His iphone still hasn't shipped. Did anyone else have this problem, and has your phone shipped yet?

He tried to get the phone at the store but they wouldn't let him cancel his online order for some reason. We leave on vacation Friday and he'd like to have his phone before we leave. He's incredibly upset right now since he ordered on the 10th and still doesn't have it. He thinks it will never come. Anybody have any luck?

Where did you get that from. Of course you can cancel a Premier online order that has not shipped yet, just call them up and tell them that you want to cancel. I did that and bought mine from Apple. Now if it has already shipped then you have to refuse the shipment.

I get an automatically generated e-mail on Sunday (the 20th) saying there was a problem with the order. They couldn't verify my credit card number??, and I needed to call. So I did, and after many tries, and long waiting I get through and fix the issue. (I gave her the SAME cc #, so, dunno what the problem was).

Anyway, like the other person said - at the end of the call she told me she was sendnig it over for warehouse processing. Order status says "processing" ever since. *shrug*

I just wish I knew what was going on, that's all... if it's backordered, still a problem, or what...

Edit: Oh and this too. I ordered two lines, and according to my status page, it looks like only one of my numbers got ported over. :rolleyes:
 
If you ordered from Premier on the 18th (I ordered 2 iPhones on the 17th) it was clearly stated during the ordering process that iPhones are backordered and "WILL TAKE 7-14 DAYS."

I had the same problem with my credit card. AMEX flagged the purchase as "possible fraud" (this is the 3rd time they have done this to me on various "large" purchases) so I had to call Amex to OK it and have AT&T re-process the payment.

If everyone would stop calling customer service every day with stupid questions people with REAL problems might be able to get through.

Nope - never was there anything stated during the ordering process about iPhones being backordered.

And secondly... I only phoned Premier Cust Serv. once (at their request!) to fix my CC issue. I have not called back since.
 
My order from 6/10 is finally showing some progress. the "Backorder QTY" just went from 1 to 0, so that *should* mean it is shipping tonight. About time :)
 
Wow, It is crazy to see some people who ordered the same day as me stillnot have their phones shipped. I am glad I cancelled my order and went into a store and bought it. Learned my lesson about pre ordering from AT&T.
 
Well my canceled order just shipped. The phone I reordered (when I was gven the chance of the cheaper prices) is still backordered. Go figure.
