In Europe, iMessage is just not a standard. You won't meet anybody alienating you because of a green bubble displayed on an iPhone.
It's just not going to happen unless you're dating an Apple Store employee or something like that.
The issue with the green/blue bubbles is happening within teenagers mostly. Hence these will be the future decision makers, google and other organizations are afraid about the monopoly apple would be bringing to the market (and they are not entirely in the wrong)
We should not generalize our experience to other pars, age groups of the world.
Yeah, American teenagers probably. Not European ones. This kind of social awkwardness is just not happening in Europe. Get over it.

And you should get rid of your american blindfold. He's right. Europe doesn't give a damn about iMessage and green bubble issues. WhatsApp is the king, alongside with Telegram for more underground nature stuff.
Bull ****! I am European and I exclusively use iMessage for my family communication. I also use viber and fb messenger for communicating with other people. No WhatsApp at all.

Going to use my 13 pro max for another year, belgian prices (euro) are ridiculous. I hope they will reconsider the pricing, or my apple days are over.... Electricity and gas are more important now. Stupid decision from apple.
I'm US and don't care what color someone's bubbles are. What % here even care. With everything, the outspoken are so loud, you'd think the % is way higher than it really is.

And Apple pricing is making regular 14 and 14+ look stupid and force people to buy 14 pro and max, around 90% orders now are 14 pro series.
I upgraded in the end but my wife and I just got deals on last years Pro’s. The increases this year are insane and although I could have bought a 14 Pro outright, I’m not doing that on principle when it’s £1099! Sorry Apple, inflation whatever, I’m not being ripped off thanks.
My iPhone 13 Pro Max went to the bottom of the sea yesterday, obviously I was gutted.
I had a look at the iPhone 14 Pro Max to replace it but it's £150 more expensive than the 13 Pro Max for very little difference so I managed to snag a 13 Pro Max from another retailer.
Normally I'd always just buy the latest model but the price hike in the UK made it an easy decision to stick with the 13 Pro Max

Sorry to hear about the loss. Perhaps in 6 months time we will read about an iPhone 13 Pro Max found in the belly of a seal on the Irish coast and it still works.
And after years they know the Pros sell but they always have way surplus of normals and way backorder of Pros
Thats what i did, got a new sealed 13 PM 128 2 months ago for 900€.
