Ha can't wait for Apple's response to Google using part of their white buttons with green background in their Chromecast UI.

Time to spam F5 to be able pre-order Samsung Live Wear when the page is up.

Can we expect to see "5 features Google copied from Apple" blog posts now like we had for iOS6?

I mean so far I've got iOS in the car and Air play mirroring, factory reset protection...

Bummer the Moto 360 isn't available until end of Summer for pre-order.

Moto 360 + successor to Moto X should make for an interesting presentation for Motorola...

The android look is significantly more MSFT than Apple

Well I don't iOS is anything like Android either, and i'm just picking up on the ludicrous nature of tech blogs who like to point out which had which features first.

Such flattery you are expressing for google devs to code all these features they copied in less than a month since apple keynote.

So little new user features in L... almost none since 4.2 IMHO :(:(

Only UI redesign, better notifications and maybe do not disturb feature?

I'm disappointed.

4.3 and 4.4 brought many enhancements in performance, memory and such, but not many new user features.

They mentioned performance enhancements, much better graphics and much better life with the ability to set power profile in apps.

People say this every keynote. What exactly were you expecting?

I kinda was hoping we would get multitasking like floating windows. I missed like half the keynote so was it demoed? Also what's up with that IOS 6 style status bar? it should match the color of the header completely like we saw in the concept/leaks.

also no transparent nav bars in apps was surprising. it looks ugly.

By the way, what's the point of this new redesign if there's not gonna be another nexus phone?

Does Google believe that Samsung, LG or HTC will go along with their redesign or keep TouchWiz, Sense, etc?

Project Volta to bring "drastically improved" battery life.

Excellent.

Honestly, it's long overdue.

I dunno. The AndroidOne program might use full L. I hope they make another Nexus

Maybe GPE phones aka the Silver program?

I hope they announce Google Play edition devices outside of US

I'm HUGELY impressed with the amount of stuff they are announcing: Google Fit, TV, new Android L, Auto, etc :eek:

Google must really be the best place to work in the world :D:D

But still, I wanted much more of Android L.

Come on, bring on avoid silver! I want a vanilla Android Note 4 to use with my wear watch...
