Seemed to be pushing again yesterday but back to not pushing again today. Very sporadic. Unbelievable that it's taking apple so long to fix something that third party developers have nailed already.

I'm starting to wonder if they are even working on the issue. Almost 3 weeks since I started this thread and there's been no REAL progress. Mine failed again overnight.

Same here. Then again, if they don't acknowledge there's an issue they won't fix it. Shocking really.

Don't know what else we can do. Many of us have tickets in, sent feedback, even notified the media. Yet nothing really happening. HELP!

You would think the media would be interested in this...I am probably going to move my email to another provider. This is unacceptable.

The native mail app on iOS is an absolute joke. It's an embarrassment to the company how frequently and how often issues arise with it. QC out the window.. but at least there are shiny colours on the phones

I resolved the mails push notifications by switching to Spark but...

I am having some push notifications issues with Tapatalk, sometimes it's OK, sometimes it's late and sometimes it doesn't push at all. Other apps seems fine so I don't know if it's related to Tapatalk itself or if it's the same issue that other people have with Skype notifications for example.

Don't take this the wrong way...that's not a resolution, it's a bandaid workaround. We pay beaucoup $$$ for these iOS devices and iCloud is included in the price. They must fix it or admit iCloud can't be fixed.....price redux. Just business.

I am not going to take it the wrong way ;) I agree with you, I pay some € each month for some iCloud storage, so I expect a quality service. It's ok to have some issues from time to time, but not taking so long to solve them.

However, the rest of iCloud is working fine for me. Another mail client allows me to get my emails in time so it's more than a simple workaround. If Spark suits me in the long term I may not use the Mail app ever again ;)

I just got notified via Gmail that I had a iCloud mail forwarded off. Loaded the stock Mail client, no mail present until the fetch completed.

Its pretty beat that this problem A. exists and B. has no traction save this thread.

I just had a thought..... I wonder how many times this really happened? Without having the Spark running I would not have known push was delayed! WOW

I installed Spark as others have recommended here. I also disable Mail in my iCloud settings on the phone, turned off mail notifications, and moved the app to my 'Apple Crap' folder. I also disabled mail forwarding in iCloud so I'm 100% on Spark; lets see how it goes.

BTW, the app looks slick; I wonder why its free?

Been doing the same for a couple of days but with the EMAIL app instead of Spark. It's been great. You don't have to hide the apple Mail app, you can delete it.

I just hid it in case I need it again for some unknown reason. You never know when you'll need a malfunctioning email app to miss half your messages.

I thought about that too earlier but the issue does give itself away in that you'd notice a whole bunch of emails come in at once, with all of them having different time stamps (anywhere from the time they come in till X mins/hours ago).

My only issue with going 3rd party is the calendar integration with the mail app

By calendar integration do you mean like when there's a time/date in a message it gets hyperlinked for calendar event creation? 3rd party mail apps already do that, well at least the one I'm currently using, EMAIL.

Engineers want more logs. Good grief. It's not device specific yet they think it is. Worthless.

May I ask where did you hear that? I have iCloud, Outlook.com, and Yahoo email configured on my IP7+ native mail app and only iCloud is having push issues.
If you need help sending or receiving mail on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  1. Make sure that you're connected to the Internet. Try to open apple.com in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  2. Go to iCloud.com on a Mac or PC to see if you can receive email for your iCloud account.
  3. Tap Settings > iCloud and turn on Mail on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  4. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data and turn on Push. Then send an email to your account to see if Push is working.
  5. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data. Then Tap your iCloud account and turn on Push. If you have multiple iCloud Mail accounts, you can use Push with one account at a time. Make sure that Push is turned on for your primary iCloud Mail account.
  6. Turn your device off and back on.
If you still can't send or receive mail, turn off each of the settings in steps 3, 4, and 5 above, then turn them back on.
