iPad Shipment

I ordered mine on May 10 (64gb white)
Originally set to ship May 24th and receive on May 31st
Talked to customer service and got the receive date moved up to May 27th
However right before the order status blackout it said prepared to ship but moved the receive date to June 1st :(

Hoping to still get it this coming week... getting to be a long time to wait.
 
Hey all,

Just ordered my ipad 2 on 5/19. Now the long wait starts.
I'm saddened to hear about the explosion at the chengdu plant. My heart goes out to the workers and the families who were affected by this tragedy.

I wonder how much this incident would affect the shipping time of ipad 2s. It seems that almost all ipad 2s goes through this plant before they get shipped?

I'll keep you posted.
 
Pair of iPads were Prepared for Shipment on 7/16 with shipment scheduled for 7/20 and delivery on 7/26.

No charge to CC yet. No update from Apple.

What does it mean when Apple has charged your credit card? Does that mean they have shipped it?
 
It's ready to ship or shipped.

They're preparing to ship it. In my case, after one or two days of that they charged on my credit card, they shipped it. I'm still waiting though...

Delivers: June 3rd

Hopefully they will update it and ship it early and deliver it alot earlier :D... my switcheasy canvas is looking a bit empty

Ordered May 9th , still says prepared for shipment since friday. Due to ship the 23rd and arrive the 31st but it says 2-3 day shipping method so I'm assuming it should take faster and I hope it ships out soon. Would be great if it ships out tonight!
 
Got an email about my iPad's shipment this morning. Excited!

Ordered on May 9th
Shipped from China on May 22nd
To be delivered by May 26th

This is for readers who don't live in nations that have a strong Apple presence (Sorry, USAians :( ). My order says that it will come through "Standard Parcel (IN)." Anyone knows what this means?

Just got notification shipped on 22nd. Scheduled to Arrive on 26th!

(but there was already a Shipment exception in SHENZHEN CN-Package received after FedEx cutoff)....ugh...hope it wont be later than the 27th.
