Ordered a black 16gb wifi May 4th. Shipped the 17th and arrived this morning.

UPS dropped it off at the door without a signature. Is this normal for UPS or did the driver screw up? I thought a signature was required. I'm at work now so I'll have to run home at lunch to grab it.

Went to Apple store Tampa and picked up 32GB Black WiFi at lunch!! That beats the 6/3 promise date I had online.

Cx'd online order and I'm good to go :)
 
Just out of curiosity how much longer do you think it will be until you can either just walk into a store and request an iPad 2 and there will be plenty in stock or you order online and can get your shipment within a few days?

A couple months at least. With all the issues (explosion, earthquakes, etc) that have been going on with Apple's suppliers, I'd be shocked if you'd be able to order an iPad2 online (or walk into a store and guarantee you'll get your pick of any iPad2 option) and get it under a week before August... if not later.

Err, dunno about that. Maybe the stars aligned right, but I ordered a 32gb Wi-Fi online Wednesday of last week. Tracking looks like it's already moving..

Original Dates haven't changed from
Ship: May 26th
Deliver: Jun 1st

Still under prepared for shipment. When will this change? It has been like this for at least 15 hours.:confused:
 
since FedEx and UPS cargo planes all stop in Anchorage....

do people who live in Anchorage get their iPads a couple of days earlier than the rest of us? (i.e. if Sarah Palin ordered one, will she get it faster?) :D

Original estimated arrival date: June 2.
Now changed to May 27th for delivery. Woot!:)

I also ordered on May 13. (same day as you)

Not really sure why my ship/delivery date is almost a week later than yours. :(

Apple's website shows Ship June 1, delivery Jun 7.

I ordered the black/64gb/AT&T version..........

maybe its because i ordered the 64gb wifi only black one
i would call the customer service on the site it sais 1-2week ship not 2 1/2 weeks... maybe they can make it ship faster for you

let me know if they change it for you as im still waiting on them to change mine (hopefully) i was expecting today they would change but now im expecting tomorrow? could be a lost cause :\

do they send an email if they change or just change it when you go to apple and check order status?
