Hi guys, just a workaround - Reduce transparency & switch it off, I noticed that it decreases the frequency of this stutter but not clearing it completely, it still happens but not as frequently as keeping it on!
Not really seeing a different when doing this.

I did not see the issue for ~48 hours after first installing beta 3, and then my phone rebooted for a security update, resetting the clock.

Yes, you are totally right, it's back after 48hrs! The stutter is getting worse with time, I don't know why! especially when you open any app that you didn't use for a long time, this is frustrating, till when Apple will keep ignoring the issue! I know many people that contacted the support for the same issue & they are just saying everything is ok & you don't have to worry; this is a flagship iPhone that is doing this silly behavior

I am sure that Apple considers this a minor UI issue at best, if they are even aware of it at all.

I've noticed the lag when I open youtube and need to swipe down from the small screen to close it, it takes a couple of times for it to respond.

I am on 16.2 b3 and it just gets worse and more noticeable every day. If it's possible, I'd like to sell my 14 pro max and get a new 13 pro max with iOS15 and I won't ever upgrade to 16.

Restarting the device daily clears out the issue for almost 24hrs, this is as a temp fix till Apple admits the issue :(

Too bad that there isn’t a way to set it up to auto-restart in the middle of the night.

Me too. The big question is: how excited are we about buying the IPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra or whatever) on day one?

Apple is losing its credibility. Apple is a lie.

I’ve given my IPhone 13 in exchange for one of these ****** IPhone 14PM. Now I’ve got 3 defective iPhones and lost a lot of money. At least I haven’t bought FTX token.

I learned my lesson. I am not going to buy an iPhone on day 1 until I trust them to deliver quality software again. It's like I paid more money to downgrade and they don't even seem to acknowledge this stutter issue when it's making the user experience miserable.

I am actually searching for new/used iPhone 13 pm with iOS 15 that are decently priced.

LOL.

First of all, you can buy it on day 1 or day 428, you still won't have any guaranty that they will deliver quality software.

Second of all, quality software is... software. You might want to talk about iOS, not the iPhone.

Third of all, the grass is definitely not greener in the neighbour's land.

Why are you switching out hardware for a software problem?

I haven’t seen any stutter on the Iphone 13PM though I know it’s a software issue. And the funny thing is that I‘ve made an ICloud backup from that 13PM and thus, if it was triggered by settings and apps, I should have seen it on 13PM or shouldn’t have seen it on 14PM.

Ps: I’ve used the 13pm with iOS16 for 4 weeks with no stutter

I also confirm on 13 PM no Lag while on 14PM yes!!

Just chiming in again.. I concur with previous commenters that iOS 16 never presented this issue on the 13 Pro but it's consistent on my 14 Pro. Every morning it's the worst. Could it perhaps be related to the battery or memory on the 14 Pro ? Perhaps after a full charge overnight, something is off..
Also, I wonder if just the regular 14 models experience this issue

I think it's worth not assuming that it's purely a software issue

FWIW, I have a 14 PM and I haven’t seen it so far. I don’t use my phone all the time though. I use my iPad and MacBook more often. I am still on 16.0.2.

This has been a constant issue for me on my 13 Pro
