Whatever such issue you’re having I hope becomes fixed for you at some point. But that video does not demonstrate any such issue to me. And someone at some point made a blanket statement that all phones, or all 14 models anyway, have this issue which is not true. But again hopefully it gets resolved for you. Those on the betas can use Feedback Assistant to submit a report with images or videos that actually show stuttering which may get the attention needed.

I did it. I said all iPhones 14 potentially have the issue, depending on a combination of iCloud account, settings and apps. Are you part of the solution here? All you do is deny and minimize the issue and disguise your denial with “I hope you’ll get this fixed soon”

And as far as devices, I believe Apple has confirmed this is only affecting the Pro models. I can also confirm that my wife's standard 14 (not the plus model) does not stutter at all. She goes weeks without restarting it and I've played around with it for hours trying to make it stutter ;)
FWIW my wife has 14 PM and hasn’t had it yet.

Meanwhile my: 13PM, 14P and 14PM all had the issue. Through factory resets.

I agree that the Zollotech example was very minimal, but here are two examples I just sent Apple today as they followed up on my feedback ticket and asked if I was still experiencing it on beta 4. I'd say these are moderate example also. In some more rare cases, the animation stutters and hangs for almost a second.

Great videos. I agree these are in the middle maybe even a little on the bad side. Feel real bad when it does this like 6 or 7 times in 20-30 seconds of moving around.

Wow. Not happening for me on my 14PM at all. Butter smooth 100% of the time.

Wonder if it's only 14 Pro models, or both 13 Pro and 14 Pro models. That might help narrow down to the issue, perhaps the 120Hz handling on iOS 16 or the Dynamic Island

Unfortunately, I've been having this issue in my regular 13 since the iOS 16 update. I have tried to play around with the settings unsuccessfully. I hope Apple doesn't think it's a Pro-only issue. Is it possible to open a ticket with Apple without installing the beta?

Yes, on my regular iPhone 12 the same problem!

But also have stutters on switch/open new tabs in Safari, swiping on recent open apps, jumping to widgets screen or App Library.

At the same time in high demanding games have perfectly smooth fps, it’s ridiculous, that simple iOS animations looks like a crap on A14 Bionic!

It’s even funny, because i am switching from Android (15 years of use) to iPhone, only because thought, that iOS is perfectly smooth (much needed this).

And I was wrong, because in system animations iPhone 12 works not much better than my Xiaomi from 2017 :(

In my experience, you would have been happy with the switch until recently. I’ve not encountered any lag with iOS up until this. It’s crazy that I can own one of the most powerful phones out there (14PM) and get lag like I’m on a £200 phone. Closed all my running apps this morning and not had it for the first couple of hours but just waiting for it to pop up again.

Installing it now, but my hopes aren't up.
Mine either... however, with the release of today's RC, the status of my feedback ticket has changed from "Open" to "Potential fix identified - For a future OS update". So could that future update be this RC? Guess we'll see!

Man that is HUGE news! That's what I saw back in iOS 14 before the fix was deployed finally!

So if it's not in this RC, I'm at least hopeful for a fix in 16.2.1 or 16.3.

Good to know! I was going to ask if yours was changed to a more definitive "Fixed" instead of "Potentially fixed."

I can’t remember if it changed to Fixed (it says Open now from iOS 14) — but I did get this money message! Be on the lookout for this.

I got that message the other day asking if it’s fixed for my in beta 4, which I promptly replied no to. My worry is they think they fixed it in beta 4 and they really didn’t so now my ticket is marked as resolved and I don’t see a way to change the status to not fixed.

With all due respect, my dear pal, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Even if Tim Cook had affirmed that iOS 16whatever fixed his stutter, Apple wouldn’t have closed it based on one person’s experience. It will be soon fixed.
